Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bucharest
You'll arrive in Bucharest and get a transfer to your river ship waiting in Giurgiu. Once you're settled on board, there's a welcome reception this evening where you'll meet the other travelers.
- Day 2
Veliko Tarnovo
A local guide takes you through Veliko Tarnovo's old cobbled streets and walls. You'll see Tsarevets Fortress, which is this restored medieval citadel from the Second Bulgarian Empire. After lunch at a local restaurant, you head back to the ship.

- Day 3
Vidin and Belogradchik
First stop is Baba Vida Fortress in Vidin, a medieval castle built way back in the 10th century on what used to be the ancient town of Bononia. Then you travel to Belogradchik to check out another fortress on the northern Balkan slopes and see the rock formations around the town.

- Day 4
Relaxation Day at Sea
This day is completely yours to do what you want on board. Sleep in if that sounds good, or wake early and enjoy the views from the Daystar Deck with your morning coffee.

Novi Sad
You get to choose how to spend your time in Novi Sad, Serbia's second largest city. There's a guided tour along Zmaj Jovina walkway hitting the main sights, or you can head to a local farmstead for traditional Vojvodinian breakfast, live music, and freshly made doughnuts.

- Day 6
Hungarian Puszta
Today's a signature experience day. You'll see local handicrafts at the Folk Art House, then visit a paprika producer to learn about this Hungarian export. Afterward, you head to a Puszta farm for a horse show and authentic Hungarian lunch.

- Day 7
Budapest
Pick your activity in Budapest. Either tour the Hospital in the Rock, a museum about a former secret emergency hospital and nuclear bunker, or hike up Gellért Hill for views over the Danube and the St Gellért Monument. By evening, the captain hosts a farewell dinner on the ship.

Departure
After breakfast, you disembark from the ship and get transferred to the airport for your flight home.
