- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Calgary at your own pace and get settled into your accommodations. There's a welcome meeting scheduled for the evening where you'll meet your CEO and the rest of your group. If you're interested, there's an option to have dinner together after the meeting, which is a good way to start getting to know everyone.

Calgary to Banff
After grabbing breakfast at a local spot, you'll start with a CEO-led orientation tour of Calgary that covers Olympic sites, ice skating parks, and historic neighbourhoods. Then you'll transfer to Banff with a lunch stop along the drive. Once there, you'll explore the area on foot, checking out spots like Tunnel Mountain, Bow Falls, or Vermilion Lakes. Later in the evening, you'll walk along the main street to see the festive lights.

- Day 3
Banff
You'll head out to Johnston Canyon to see the frozen waterfalls and icicles in winter. The group walks the trail and boardwalk together, visiting both the Lower and Upper Falls while wearing crampons for safety. After that, you'll return to Banff for lunch. The afternoon is free, and you can choose from optional winter activities like riding the gondola up Sulphur Mountain, soaking in the hot springs, going on sleigh rides, tubing, or skating.

Banff to Lake Louise
You'll drive to Sunshine Village ski resort on the Continental Divide and meet a local guide for a half-day snowshoe trip through Sunshine Meadows. Keep an eye out for wildlife during the walk. Lunch is at the base, and then you'll drive to Lake Louise for a guided walk on Fairview Lookout Trail with your CEO. You'll have self-guided time to explore around Lake Louise afterward, with options for ice castles, ice skating, or sleigh rides.

Lake Louise to Jasper
The group travels the famous Icefield Parkway from Lake Louise, starting with a walk at Peyto Lake through the glacial landscape. Depending on conditions, you might walk out on Abraham Lake to see ice bubbles. An included lunch is served in the wilderness. Then you'll continue along the Icefield Parkway with stops at Athabasca Glacier, Tangle Falls, and Sunwapta Falls before reaching Jasper by early evening.

Jasper
You'll have breakfast on your own in Jasper, then explore the area via hiking or snowshoeing with your CEO. The group drives to Maligne Valley to walk the 3km Mary Schaeffer loop, which offers winter views of the landscape. Back in Jasper for lunch, you'll have a free afternoon for optional activities like ice climbing, skiing, or canyon ice walks. If the sky is clear that evening, your CEO will organize a walk to try spotting the northern lights.

Jasper to Smoky Lake
After breakfast on your own in Jasper, you'll drive to Edmonton for some free time, then continue to Smoky Lake. You'll stay at a lodge overlooking the North Saskatchewan River where you can learn about Métis culture. Before dinner, you'll get an introduction to Métis Crossing led by knowledgeable interpreters who'll explore the history, traditions, and river-lot life of the Métis people. Dinner is a 3-course meal featuring local, sustainably sourced ingredients.

Landmarks Métis Crossing North Saskatchewan River Métis Cultural Gathering Centre - Day 8
Métis Crossing
You'll spend the day learning about Métis heritage, starting with a SUV tour of the Métis Crossing Wildlife Park led by an interpreter. The group looks for rare white bison, elk, and other heritage species. After returning to the lodge for lunch, you'll have free time to explore nearby trails with snowshoes or skis. In the evening, you'll learn about the importance of the skies to Métis ancestors, observe stars and constellations, listen to legends and folklore, and participate in a tea ceremony under the dark sky.
