For our Trafalgar tours though in general, who's travelling with us are mixed - 31% is under 45 years old, 42% of 45-60 years old and 27% are over 60 years old.

Can we end in Salamanca instead of Madrid? Does that affect pricing?

Regarding your question, it's at your discretion if you want to end the trip in Salamanca. You just need to coordinate with the travel director. Also, the price will be the same regardless of whether you finish the tour or not.

Is there a single supplement?

The single room is on request. The trip cost $3,175.00 plus the single supplement of $490.00 which will make your total $3,665.00.

is there an extra charge for solo traveller

There is an extra charge if you will be staying in a Single Room. This tour cost 4,135.00 per person in a Single Room. If you will be staying in a Twin Share room, it cost 3,575.00 per person. You will be sharing a room with another traveller of same sex for the Twin Share room.

Is the $200 deposit per person, and is it refundable if we need to cancel?

The deposit is indeed $200 per person, and it is non-refundable in the event that you need to cancel. We do offer a deposit protection, where if you cancel your booking and rebook in the future, we apply your original $200 as a discount towards your new booking.

I prefer hotel rooms with balconies. Are they available on the Northern Spain tour?

Generally we just book standard rooms. However once you are on the trip at time of check in you can speak with the front desk and inquiring if upgrading is available.

Are we able to spend time inside the Guggenheim Museum and if so how long?

Entrance to the museum is not included in the trip, but you will have free time in Bilbao to explore the museum if you would like. You will arrive in Bilbao at approximately 1 PM and then you would have your included orientation of the city. Once that is over, you would have free time for lunch or to go to the museum. You would be set to depart Bilbao at approximately 3:30 PM.

BEWARE! Do not book unless the tour is absolutely confirmed. They will lie about the timeline they will confirm just to get your final payment. I was told I would know about confirmation about our tour in about a week after I mad the final payment. After two weeks of not hearing anything and contacting them, I was told there would be no decision until 60-45 days before the trip and there was not a refund until that time. When I asked about the incorrect information I was given (the LIE), I was told they were "sorry" and that their hands were tied. I do not trust this company and I wish I had not gone with themShow more

A definite departure tour is confirmed when the minimum number of guests required for that particular departure is reached, and it will definitely run unless there are any unforeseen circumstances. We can only confirm the departure 60 days before the actual date because the number of guests booked can fluctuate, so we cannot provide exact numbers. However, we regularly update the departures to show as definite. Per our booking conditions, we offer our guests the best alternative dates or a refund if a tour does not become a definite departure.
