Dear Maureen Thank you very much for taking the time to share your client's feedback with us. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving our service. First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience your client experienced. We completely understand how important punctuality and clear communication are, especially when tours begin very early in the morning. I would like to provide a little more context regarding what happened. The delay occurred on July 2 during the pick-up for the Route of the Sun tour. Our driver, Mr. Dany, encountered unexpected traffic very close to the hotel, which unfortunately delayed the pick-up. Although traffic at that hour is quite unusual, it was an unforeseen situation. We fully understand that this affected your client's experience, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience. Later that same day, we also sent our sincere apologies and contacted your client again to check how everything was going and whether there was anything else we could do to assist. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response. I would also like to clarify our communication process. The messages we send each afternoon are not intended to replace or modify the itinerary. Their purpose is simply to serve as operational reminders and provide useful recommendations to help travelers prepare for the following day's activity. The complete itinerary is shared before the trip begins, and approximately 15 days prior to departure we also send a detailed pre-departure email containing the itinerary, estimated pick-up times, recommendations, and important travel information. The pick-up times included in this document are always approximate and may vary by only a few minutes depending on the day's operations. For example, for the Lima City Tour, we reminded your client about the pick-up window and recommended bringing sunscreen, water, and comfortable clothing. Before the Paracas, Ica & Huacachina excursion, we provided recommendations regarding warm clothing for the boat tour, suggested requesting a boxed breakfast from the hotel, and shared useful tips for the day. Upon arrival in Cusco, we also sent detailed airport arrival instructions, explained exactly where to meet our driver, and even shared a photo of our transfer assistant so your client could identify him easily. In short, these messages are intended as helpful reminders and operational guidance rather than a replacement for the itinerary. Our goal is always to keep travelers informed, prepared, and supported throughout their journey. Please rest assured that it was never our intention to overlook the situation or avoid taking responsibility. On the contrary, whenever an unexpected situation arises, our team makes every effort to respond immediately, keep our travelers informed, and provide assistance throughout their trip. We sincerely value both your partnership and your clients' experience. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. Feedback such as yours allows us to continue strengthening our communication and operational processes so we can provide an even better experience for future travelers. Kind regards, Martita Waman Adventures Team

Dear Robert Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your experience with us. We are truly delighted to hear that you enjoyed your journey through Peru and that our guides, drivers, and hotel selections helped make your trip memorable. It is especially rewarding to know that Julio César's knowledge, encouragement, and passion for Inca history enhanced your visit to Machu Picchu. We will be sure to share your kind words with him, he will be thrilled to know he played such an important role in your adventure. Congratulations as well on reaching the summit of Machu Picchu Mountain! The hike is certainly challenging, but as you experienced, the panoramic views are absolutely worth the effort. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the itinerary adjustment caused by the limited availability of Machu Picchu tickets. We are sorry to hear that the sudden change in altitude upon arriving in Puno affected your acclimatization. Your feedback is very valuable, and we will continue working to provide the best possible recommendations for future travelers facing similar circumstances. Thank you once again for choosing Waman Adventures and for trusting us with your Peru experience. It was a pleasure assisting you, and we hope to welcome you back to Peru someday for another unforgettable adventure. Warm regards, Martita Waman Adventures Team

The 10-Day Peru Express tour includes two excursions that involve moderate to challenging hiking: Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain. Both activities take place at high altitude and require a good level of physical fitness.

If you are looking for a more relaxed itinerary with little to no hiking, we would recommend our 8 Days Tour: Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu & Puno – Includes Domestic Flights & Vistadome Train.

This tour is designed for travelers who wish to experience Peru's most iconic destinations at a comfortable pace while minimizing strenuous physical activities. Highlights include:
      • Guided city tour of Lima.
      • Exploration of Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
      • Visit to Machu Picchu with round-trip Vistadome Train service.
      • Visit to Lake Titicaca and its fascinating islands in Puno.
      • Domestic flights within Peru.
      • Carefully selected 3-star accommodations with private bathrooms.
      • Airport transfers and ground transportation.
      • Professional English-speaking guides.
      • Daily breakfasts and meals as specified in the itinerary.

This itinerary offers an excellent balance of culture, history, scenery, and comfort, making it a great option for travelers seeking to discover Peru without demanding hikes.

To clarify, the tour includes three lunches: The first one is on Day 2, but only if you choose the Paracas – Ica – Huacachina option. If you select the Palomino Islands tour, lunch is not included on this day. The second lunch is on Day 6 during the Route of the Sun. The third lunch is on Day 7 during the Speed Boat Tour at Lake Titicaca. As for the activities on Day 2, there are two different options: The Paracas – Ica – Huacachina tour starts very early, between 03:40 and 04:30 am, and ends quite late, between 10:00 and 11:00 pm. The Palomino Islands tour is much lighter, usually starts between 8:00 and 9:00 am and finishes around 3:00 pm. Both are wonderful experiences, and we provide these two alternatives so travelers can choose the one that best fits their preferences and travel style.
