Pros: Tours selected were great, Neuschwanstein and the Bern tour were our favorites. We were messaged by TourRadar daily to confirm locations, travel etc. Communication with the tour company was very easy and they responded quickly. Cons: I felt for the price (and especially since we were 2 travelers together in one room) the hotels selected could have been a bit nicer. The first hotel in Munich was fine and pretty standard, it wasn’t in the nicest area but it was close to the train station. The hotel in Zurich was uncomfortable. The floors and ceilings were made out of concrete so when you stepped out of the shower, you were stepping on concrete. It was a little prison-like. The bed was also very hard. Overall: I liked the convenience of the tour but I do not think I would do it again. The tours that were selected can easily be booked on your own - just google, day trip tours from Munich/Zurich. 2 of the ‘tour days’ are you flying into and out of the city so really it’s only 5 days and one of those is train travel that they cover. I was already aware the the tour was really only 4 days but again for the price, I thought the day tours were more expensive which they really weren’t and/ or the hotels were standard nice (which the second one really wasn’t). For 2 people booking I think there should have been a discount since we stay in the same room. Bottom line: Just schedule the tours yourself and the train travel (super easy just use the DB Navigator app for the trains)Show more
