Paris
You'll arrive in Paris and have the day to yourself. Wander around at your own pace, taking in the sights and energy of the French capital. It's a good chance to get your bearings and settle into the city's rhythm before your scheduled activities begin.

Paris
After breakfast, you've got options for how you want to spend your time. Take a guided coach tour to see major landmarks like the Louvre and Les Invalides, or head into Montmartre to walk the cobblestone streets and check out the historic vineyard. Either way, you'll get a feel for different sides of Paris.

Paris to Conflans-Saint Honorine
This morning is free to explore Paris however you'd like. Later, you'll transfer to the Scenic Gem river cruise ship and board this evening. It's a relaxed day that leads into your Seine River journey beginning tonight.

Conflans-Saint Honorine
You'll wake up in the medieval town of Conflans-Saint Honorine where the Seine and Oise rivers meet. Wander the quiet streets and visit the ancient church, then grab coffee at a riverside café. After that, choose between visiting Van Gogh's village of Auvers-sur-Oise or touring Chantilly Castle and its gardens.

Rouen
You'll spend the day in Rouen, Normandy's capital, and can choose how you want to explore. Pick a classic city tour that walks you through the cathedral and medieval quarters, try a Viking-themed walk focused on Rollo the Warlord, or go with a Claude Monet-inspired route hitting the city's artistic landmarks and the Musée des Beaux-Arts. Later back on the ship, there's an interactive WWI lecture covering what soldiers experienced on the Western Front.

Honfleur
Your ship pulls into Honfleur, a port city known for its colorful waterfront and narrow streets lined with half-timbered buildings. You have the full day to wander around the harbor area, checking out the cobbled streets, art galleries, and waterfront restaurants. There are four freechoice experiences to pick from. You can join a Normandy Beaches tour that covers D-Day history from the US, British, or Canadian perspective. Or if you'd rather stay in town, take a guided walk through Honfleur's inner harbor and see the historic sites scattered throughout. It's your call on how to spend the day here.

Honfleur to Caudebec-en-Caux
An early start gets you to Caudebec-en-Caux, a small medieval town on the Seine. Several guided options are available: tour and taste at the historic Benedictine Palace in Fécamp, walk the spiritual Abbey Road along the Seine, cycle to Villequier for the Victor Hugo Museum, or join a costumed guide exploring Roman history at Lillebonne's ancient amphitheater.

Vernon to La Roche-Guyon
You'll visit Vernon and nearby Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and painted. Choose between a guided tour of Monet's house and gardens with the famous water lilies and Japanese-inspired landscape, or rent a bike and ride from Vernon to Giverny at your own pace. By evening, sail to La Roche-Guyon for a classical concert at the 16th-century Château built into a chalk hillside.

Paris
The ship returns to Paris for an afternoon of exploration. If this is your first time, you can tackle bucket-list spots like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Already been? Check out the trendy Marais District, Opera Garnier's opulent interiors, or take a day trip to a château southeast of the city.

Paris
Your Seine River cruise ends this morning. You'll have breakfast on board, then disembark and transfer to Paris airport or train station for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of France with you.
