Cologne
You'll arrive in Cologne with your morning free before the cruise departs at 5 PM. There's plenty of time to walk around the cathedral and check out the city's historic monuments on your own schedule. If you prefer, you can also stick around after the ship leaves and explore more of the city later.

- Day 2
Amsterdam
Pulling into Amsterdam at 11 AM gives you almost 10 hours to spend in the city before the 9 PM departure. You'll have time to wander the canal streets, walk through different neighborhoods, and see the historic sites at a relaxed pace. Keep in mind that if your berth isn't confirmed, they'll arrange a shuttle bus to get you to the city.

- Day 3
Huizen
You'll arrive in Huizen right at midnight, which means you're essentially starting your exploration the next morning. This Dutch town sits along the Gooimeer and has a nice old center with traditional buildings, local cafes, and a marina. The area around it works well for hiking, cycling, or trying water sports if that interests you.

Landmarks Huizen Marina - Day 4
Enkhuizen
After leaving Huizen at 8 AM, you'll cruise across the Markermeer and IJsselmeer lakes for several hours before reaching Enkhuizen around noon. This town has a reputation for being like an open-air museum with plenty of historic buildings, shops, and cafes all within walking distance from where the boat docks.

- Day 5
Hoorn
The ship departs Enkhuizen at 8 AM and heads back across the Markermeer and IJsselmeer, arriving in Hoorn by 11 AM. Hoorn's a 16th-century port town where the buildings still reflect its significant maritime history. You'll have the full day to explore before the 10 PM departure.

Landmarks Hoorn Harbor - Day 6
Nijmegen
Landing in Nijmegen at 10 AM, you're in one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands with Roman roots going back nearly 2,000 years. The city has lots of historical sites to see, a strong student atmosphere, and beaches along the Rhine River if you want to walk by the water.

Duisburg
Leaving Nijmegen very early at 5 AM, you'll travel down the Rhine to Duisburg, Germany, and arrive at 2 PM. This city used to be an industrial center but has shifted into technology and science work. It's also home to one of the world's largest inland ports, which you can see from the water.

Cologne
You'll arrive back in Cologne at 6 AM to wrap up your Rhine cruise. There's time to take one last walk through the cathedral city and visit any sights you might have missed earlier, or you can arrange a transfer to the airport or train station through A-ROSA to head out.
