It felt like a complete bait and switch with the tour operator Bravo Indochine. None of the hotels were the same as listed on the TourRadar website. There wasn’t a distinction between standard and superior rooms as listed on TourRadar, just one type of hotel room was available and the tour operator sent the new hotel information just an hour or two before I was due to check in. The hotels in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap was substandard unlike the hotels listed in the TourRadar itinerary. There was a huge disconnect between the Bravo Indochine and the local guides partly because the tour operator is based in Vietman not Cambodia and he hasn’t visited Cambodia since COVID. A lot has changed. For example, the TourRadar itinerary said that all transportation would be by an air conditioned bus. However, I was informed the first day through the local tour guide (not directly from Bravo Indochine who had my WhatsApp) that I would be picked up by tuktuk the next morning to be taken to a public bus station for a five hour trip to a small town call Kratie. The next morning the tuktuk dropped me off at the bus station where no one spoke English. I found the right bus and settled in during the bus ride. Unexpectedly during the lunch at a local rest stop in the middle of nowhere the bus driver gave me a phone and I was told by an unknown individual that I must stay at the rest stop after the bus leaves for an additional hour to wait for the new local guide. None of there changes were communicated to me through the tour operator, Bravo Indochine. I gave the company a “poor” rating versus the absolute worst rating “bad” because the local guides in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap that Bravo Indochine hired were wonderful. It’s just difficult to relax on vacation when you have no idea where you will be staying next or the transportation situation on each leg. The lack of communication started even before I arrived. After I booked I ask Bravo Indochine multiple times via the TourRadar message where should I meet the group on the first day and how many people would be in the group. I received a WhatsApp message from Bravo Indochine after I landed in Phnom Penh confirming that I had paid a single supplement. As soon as I confirmed I was informed of the meeting point the next day and that I was the only person on the trip. I wish I had known in advance that I would be the only person because my travel dates were flexible and I booked a tour specifically because I would be traveling solo and wanted a sense of community. TourRadar wasn’t very helpfully either. Their “help” phone number is managed by bots and it was impossible to talk to a live person even when I was stranded at a rest stop in rural Cambodia. I do not recommend working with Bravo Indochine and know that if you have any issues with your tour operator TourRadar will not assist you.Show more

My trip to Cambodia was great. The customer service provided by Angie was excellent. Every question was answered quickly and to the point. That alone made my solo adventure much more comfortable to plan. I stayed at the Hotel Somadevi Angkor Resort & Spa with a fantastic breakfast buffet. My guide and driver were professional, knowledgeable, caring. It would be more challenging to see the right spot for photos and annotation to historical events without their help. After the temples tour, a refreshing scented wet towel, and a bottle of cold water, there was great food at a local restaurant. The program schedule was great for tourist attractions and time to relax.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 22nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Bravo Indochina Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Bravo Indochina Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Bravo Indochina Tours" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
