  I liked the itinerary and it was as described. The tour guide and bus driver did a great job. The only thing to criticize is that no microphone was used on group excursions. This meant that it was often impossible to understand explanations unless you were very close. With a larger group, this can cause crowding. Sometimes it was annoying to spend so much time on the bus. However, on a coach trip with a described route, this is not a shortcoming of the trip itself. I would book through them again if it comes up.Show more

  Although the weather was very bad during the first few days, our tour guide Paul tried to make the best of it. His commentary along the way was clear and informative. On the way from the Columbia Icefield, he chose not the fastest route, but the one with the most scenic views. On this route, the likelihood of seeing wildlife was also higher, which paid off—we even saw bears and elk. Our bus driver had a bit more work on his hands with us—or rather, with my wife—(since he always had to load her walker on and off the bus), which he always did with a smile. The route was also varied. We saw a lot of Canada. The hotels were also good. The hotels were mostly centrally located. Breakfast at the hotels was also good, except for the breakfast at the hotel in Canmore. There, they used paper plates and cups and wooden cutlery, which wasn’t very pleasant. The size of the rooms was more than adequate, except for the last hotel (Sandman Downtown Vancouver). In Vancouver, the room was so small that we could barely get our suitcase through the door, since the bed blocked more than half of it. We had to fold up the walker to get it through the gap between the bed and the doorframe. All in all, the trip was very nice. No one can control the weather, and we tried to make the best of it. The tour guide, Paul, and the bus driver, Ken, were both excellent. The itinerary was well-planned with plenty of stops and breaks at scenic overlooks. There was also enough free time for our own activities. The bus was comfortable with ample legroom.Show more
