Itinerary
- Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
You'll land in Rio de Janeiro and get picked up for a transfer to your hotel. Check-in happens from 14:00 onward, so once you're settled, the afternoon and evening are open for you to explore the city on your own terms. It's a good chance to get your bearings and maybe grab dinner somewhere local.

- Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
The guided tour kicks off at 08:00, covering Rio's main attractions. You'll take a train up through Tijuca Forest to Christ the Redeemer, then pass by Maracanã Stadium and the Sambadrome. After checking out the Cathedral of Saint Sebastian and the colorful Selarón Steps, lunch is a Brazilian churrascaria. Later, cable cars take you up Sugarloaf Mountain with a stop at Urca Hill for more views.

- Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
This day is flexible. You can go it alone and wander Rio, or pick from three guided options: a 2-hour hike to Pedra Bonita (3.2km through Tijuca Forest with views of Pedra da Gavea and the ocean), a Rio Carnival experience with samba lessons and costumes, or a 2-hour speedboat tour around Guanabara Bay. It's really up to what you're in the mood for.

- Carnival Experience with City of Samba tour, Rio Grande Samba School Factory visit, costume try-on, samba class, and traditional Brazilian cocktail
- Boat Tour of Guanabara Bay (2-hour tour showcasing Rio's natural beauty, architecture, and coastal views)

- Days 4 - 6
Rio de Janeiro to Manaus, Amazon Exploration
After breakfast, you'll head to the airport for a domestic flight to Manaus (we can help book this). From the pier, a speedboat takes you out to your ecolodge in the Amazon rainforest. Over the next three days, you'll do guided nature hikes, visit Monkey Forest to see wildlife, meet with native Amazonian villagers, go piranha fishing, and take evening canoe trips looking for caiman and nocturnal animals. The lodge adjusts activities based on what interests you.

- Day 7
Manaus to Iguazu Falls, Foz do Iguazu
After breakfast and some free time, a speedboat gets you to Manaus Airport for your domestic flight to Iguazu (bookable through us). Once there, a transfer brings you to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. You'll walk about 1km through the park and explore trails that lead to viewpoints overlooking roughly 280 waterfalls. The route ends at Devil's Throat, the largest waterfall in the system at 60 metres high.

Iguazu Falls (Argentina)
You'll cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge to see Iguazu Falls from the Argentine side. A train takes you to Devil's Throat, then you'll hike the Upper Circuit (1,200 metres) and the Lower Circuit if the weather cooperates (1,750 metres), both winding through forest. After that, stop by La Aripuca, a 17-metre structure built from 30 rescued native tree species. For dinner, choose between a five-course Argentine meal with wine or a Latin dinner and folklore show at Rafain Cataratas in Foz do Iguazu.
