April weather is very tricky and hard to forecast from very hot and sunny to heavy rain and cold. But this year it looks like it's going to be very warm than previous years.

what hotels are you planning to use for this tour?

All hotels we use on tour are 4 and 5 star ratings. Depending on months some may be changed but mostly we are using: Grand Hotel Amfora Hvar, Hotel Liburna Korcula, Valamar President Dubrovnik, Hotel Vitar Bol

I am from Melbourne, Australia, and need to be in Europe for a meeting. Hence considering this trip. Three immediate questions: (1) I will be on my own. Can I get a single room? (understanding this will cost more). (2) for the particular trip I am considering, how many people are currently booked? (it would be good to have some group company). (3) what types of bike are available for hire?

Yes you can get single room and all types of bikes are available to choose. At the moment we dont have any confirmed booking for your selected dates. If you are flexible with the dates maybe we can offer you some other one.

Can the amount of cycling in each day be modified - if I want to stop early? What is the cost for a Personalized Tour?

You decide how much you cycle each day as van is always with you and can transfer you to your hotel or beach anytime. Its small grp very private no need for extra cost of making it private for only two of you. Our average number of travelers are from 4-6. We dont leave anyone behind, guide is always with the last rider. We are very flexible with everything and can adjust anything for you.

What should I pack for the cycling trip?

You should pack cycling gear appropriate for varying temperatures and bring a light jacket for cooler evenings.

We were very fortunate to have chosen Cycle Croatia Laganini for our Croatia cycling tour. The whole experience was amazing! Our guides Tonci and Toma were fantastic and really made this a special experience. Locals from Split and Hvar, they generously shared their knowledge and love of their homeland as well as quickly understanding the dynamics of the group. Everything about the tour was meticulously organised, the e-bikes of a high standard, cycling routes well chosen providing variety and spectacular scenery, accommodation excellent and the food magnificent - we were eating at local restaurants, where the guides were obviously known and respected, showcasing the best of Croatian cuisine. Croatia is a spectacular country and this was a wonderful way to experience the islands, It exceeded all expectations and we highly recommend Cycle Croatia Laganini.Show more

I am only giving a 5* review because it’s not possible to give 10 ! This was a thoughtfully well organized, incredibly enjoyable, SPECTACULAR tour. Our leaders, Tonči and Toma are native Croatians who are totally familiar with the areas and have well deserved pride in the awesome natural beauty of their country. The amount of cycling was well balanced with time for enjoyment of FANTASTIC authentic Croatian meals and time to relax and unwind at end of day. From the time we landed in Split, Tonči and Toma took care of all the logistics and our needs. They went above and beyond in making sure we were set with accommodations even BEFORE our tour started with them in Split. Even after our tour ended and we extended our stay in Dubrovnik Tonci secured airport transfer for us. The accommodations were all 4 and 5 star and had great views. The cycling could have been quite challenging for me without an e-bike on some of those long hills…. .I am definitely glad I opted for one. Thankfully the support van was never far away and our guides were great in informing us of what was coming up. The group size was key to our enjoyment - Laganini tours are never more than 12. We were a total of 8 including our guides. In no time, we were well acquainted and had the opportunity to talk and have plenty of laughs I can’t wait to share my Laganini Croatian cycling experience with family and friends. We had an absolutely fantastic time on our Laganini Croatia Cycling tour. From start to finish, the trip was seamlessly organized, making it easy to create lasting memories. The electric Trek bikes allowed us to fully take in the stunning views as we rode through breathtaking routes. The scenery, from the mountains and Adriatic coastline to the picturesque olive farms and vineyards, was nothing short of spectacular. The accommodations were first-class, featuring beautiful boutique hotels where we could unwind with some beach and pool time. The food was incredible, with local restaurants that were true hidden gems—places where the locals go, not the typical tourist spots. We also had the pleasure of meeting local people who were so warm and welcoming. The small group size made everything feel personal and well-coordinated—our only choice was which wine to enjoy! The real highlights, though, were our guides, Tonci and Toma. This is their home, and it truly felt like they were welcoming us into it. We had such a great time on our Laganini Croatia Cycling tour. The trip was very well organized from the very beginning, and it was easy to make great memories. The electric Trek bikes made it easy to enjoy the view while riding, the routes were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the hotels were top-notch. Riding through the mountains and along the Adriatic coastline was unimaginably beautiful. The guides, Tonci and Toma were fun, accommodating and thought of everything! It was fun to try the delicious Croatian food and meet lovely people along the way. One of my favorite things about this tour company is that they only do small group tours, so everything is well organized and we didn't have to make any decisions other than what kind of wine we wanted. The personalized attention & interaction with Tonci & Toma (the owners!) was exceptional. Tonci being a local on the islands made such a difference. He knows so many people & they all made us feel so welcome… whether it was a restaurant owner, taxi driver, winer shop, cafe, boat transport. All perfectly arranged. Seamless to us as his guests. We felt so well taken care of. Super fun trip… the two of them have great personalities! Tonci made us laugh so much!! He is a real gem!!
