What people love about Bicycle Tours in Croatian Islands
- Self Guided Cycling Tour from Split to Dubrovnik
We loved our bike tour with Meridien Ten!! My husband & I did the 6 day self-guided bike tour Split to Dubrovnik. It was an amazing experience, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed biking the Croatian islands; Brac, Hvar, & Korcula. Meridien Ten arranged everything, getting us fitted on the bikes, transporting our luggage to hotels, setting up the ferry rides, even the bicycle routes, cultural recommendations (loved the olive oil museum on Brac!), and restaurant recommendations. We also really loved the phone app ~ it was easy to navigate and very helpful! We had an amazing time and highly recommend Meridien Ten. We look forward to another bike tour soon!
- Bike Cruise Dalmatia South Traditional Ensuite
Had a great time on this trip. Seeing these islands on bike was so much fun. The chef prepared delicious meals, the staff was kind and helpful. Our guide Natasha took us on great rides and gave us history on where we were visiting. We had one day of drizzle which was pleasant riding because the temp was in 60’s. We had many opportunities to swim either during rides or after. The water was so refreshing in late May. I highly recommend using Tour Radar and touring with Katarina lines.
- The Dalmatian Coast Classic-Croatia guided Bike Tour
After a lot of online research, my wife and I narrowed our choice of a cycling tour company to the three Croatian companies that offered guided and self guided land-based tours. We had decided against taking the cycling tour companies that use boats to get around the cost of Dalmatia because they seemed to have too many people cramped onto a boat with small accommodations. We chose Meridien Ten and their Dalmatian Coast Classic 6 day tour. Although a total of 4 guests did not sign up for the April 27th Dalmatian Classic Guided Tour, Meridien Ten offered to conduct the guided tour anyway, but without the support van, which was fine with us. They still transported our luggage to the next hotel and provided transportation support as needed. We found Meridien to be excellent in their communication and they really seemed to care about providing first class service. The price was fair, the accommodations were good and well located, the dinners and lunches were excellent, and the quality of the bicycles was very good. Our guide, Mario, is the best guide we have had during our multiple cycling trips in different parts of the world. He lives in Split and knows the Dalmatian coast as only a resident would. Everywhere we rode, he knew people we saw. Consequently, we learned a lot about the history of the area and its people and culture. He went above and beyond to find out what we liked and made multiple changes to our itinerary after consulting with us and suggesting routes, food, and activities that he thought we might appreciate more than what was in the original itinerary. For example, as we like seafood, Mario arranged for a private lunch at a restaurant owned by a family that fished in the morning and served what they caught at their restaurant in the evening. The food was outstanding. Mario went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our trip. And Meridien Ten gave Mario the flexibility to make itinerary changes to enhance our experience. In addition to this personalized experience, we cycled on three of the beautiful Croatian Islands between Split and Dubrovnik. The coastal scenery was amazing. We truly enjoyed our guided cycling tour with Meriden Ten.
