    Asked on March 16th, 2026

Does it cost extra to get private room when possible? How old are people going on this tour? The extra tours what is included? Is pick-up and drop-off at the accommodation included?

    Age Range
    Flights / Transfers
    Tour Details
    • People Travel and ExperienceOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, transfers from and to the airport in all destinations are included in the final price.

On the other hand, it is possible to change the accommodation from shared rooms to private rooms in Salta and San Pedro de Atacama. The supplement for this change would be USD 915, and the accommodations would be the following:

      Salta: Hotel Antiguo Convento
San Pedro de Atacama: Hostal Don Raúl

During the nights at the Uyuni Salt Flats, accommodation is confirmed in salt refuges, where rooms are shared. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the accommodation in this part of the journey, as the 4x4 vehicle is shared with five other travelers who stay at the same refuges. The hotels in the area are located in different places, and the vehicle would need to significantly divert from the planned route to reach them.
