  My friend and I are really keen to go on the: The Balkan Tour: 5 Countries in 6 Days from Tirana, Albania. We are looking at going on either the 18th or 19th of July. I see the minimum group size is 3. Are you able to let us know if anyone else has booked on either of these dates?

    We do not have others booked on either date so far. Closest date would be July 15th. We still have a lot of time left, and others may join if you are comfortable with waiting.

    Finally, we found that the tour ends between 6-8pm but haven't found what time it starts. We are just working out what time we will need to get a flight to Tirana.

    We use 3&4 star hotels with good location and feedback from previous travellers. We cannot confirm hotels before the tour is confirmed, as availability might change, but some options would be (Skopje: Bushi Resort, Prizren: Hotel Monarch, Zabljak: RiverBridge, Sarajevo: Aziza, and Kotor or Perast, it depends).

    We need to be in Rome for a cruise by the evening of Sept 26th and cannot start tour until the afternoon of Sept 20th as we will be flying from Venice to Tirana. will this tour work for us?

    That one would start on the 21st and finish on the 27th. Possibly, we can contact our other guest, and maybe they can move one day. Additionally, we can also do:
    
    21 Day 1 - Tirana - Budva - Kotor
    22 Day 2 - Kotor - Mostar
    23 Day 3 - Mostar - Sarajevo
    24 Day 4 - Sarajevo - Zabljak
    25 Day 5 - Zabljak - Shkoder - Prizren
    26 Day 6 - Prizren - Tirana (you come to Tirana between 10-12) and catch an afternoon flight to Rome.
    
    You miss North Macedonia in this case.

    That looks good - what is the price for that ? Also since we will be in -Tirana mid day on the 19th - is there a day trip from Tirana to North Macedonia that we could do on the 20th ?

    We can visit Skopje on teh same day and come to Tirana in the evening. The price will be the same as the requested tour.

    Is a day trip To Skopje feasible ? Is there another place in N Macedonia that you'd recommend for a day trip - Lake Ohrid ??

    No, I meant that we add Skopje on the last day and then return to Tirana in the evening.
    
    Doing it on a separate day, it would cost 400 euros extra in total for two, for the Skopje tour, or 310 euros for the Ohrid day tour. Ohrid would be a better option generally and has less driving than the Skopje day tour.

    I really want to go on your 5 country 6 day tour. That is listed for 1333 leaving and returning from Tirana. So if I book this itinerary I still pay for that - but only get 4 countries and then have to pay an additional 310 euros for a day trip to North Macedonia. That doesn't seem right to me? Because it's not 5 countries in six days could we get a discount on one of the trips ?

    Maybe the situation was not explained correctly on our side. You are free to book the tour as it is but in the event that no one else joins us, the tour would not go through as it has a minimum number of participants required. That is why I suggested the 11 Day tour which is confirmed. The new 6 day itinerary is part of that 11 day one, which we would start from the other way around in order to fit your dates and confirm the tour without the need to wait.
    
    Please nore that the price is not based on how many countries are visited rather than activities and most importantly the number of days. In our case the days are the same and we have one more day in Bosnia instead of North Macedonia which in our end has more costs and in order to make the tour end in Tirana on the last day we have to also add a private transfer from Prizren to Tirana as the rest of the group would continue the tour for 5 more days. So the price is already "discounted". It is much more costy on our end to do the 6 day suggested than the normal 6 day tour you enquired about.The price for the day tours is the normal price we offer for a private tour for two.
    
    We can look into the possibility of the 11 day tour guests starting one day earlier making it possible to do the 7 day tour i suggested earlier.
    
    Another option is that for the one day tour we can wait for others to join and the price would be around 100 euros per person.
    
    Of course we can also just wait and suggest your dates for the original 6 day tour. The tour itself is quite popular but we cannot guarantee that start date as of today.

    Prizren to Skopje is around 2.5 hours, and Skopje to Tirana is around 4.5 hours. Around 7 hours of driving in total.

    Is there anyone inquiring about this tour starting on the 20 th of September? The group that is going on the 21 st - might be cutting it too close for us to join. I am concerned about getting from Tirana to Rome for our cruise on the 27 th.

    Could we do a day tour with your company or another to Prizren on the 20th - do the tour from 21-25 - maybe skip Prizren and go back to Tirana on the evening of the 25 th- allowing us to fly out on the 6 am flight on the 26 th ?

    That way, you miss North Macedonia. The itinerary for the tour starting on the 21st is as follows (for the first 5 days):
    
    21 - Tirana - Budva - Kotor
    22 - Kotor - Mostar
    23 - Mostar - Sarajevo
    24 - Sarajevo - Zabljak
    25 - Zabljak - Shkoder - (Tirana) Prizren
    
    We can wait for others to join the tour as requested on your dates; there is still a lot of time until then. I don't know if it is possible to arrive one day earlier in Tirana, as that would help a lot in covering everything.

    Correct, only 5 overnights are included in the package. Please note that the tour requires at least 4 participants, so we would need more people to join us on your date. At the moment, the closest confirmed date is March 8. We still have time for other travelers to join us of March 1st, but the tour would not go through if the minimum is not reached.

    You mentioned that while the tour officially starts on March 1st, the travel date that is certain is March 8th. Could you please confirm whether March 1st is also guaranteed, or if only March 8th is confirmed at this stage?

    We would need three more participants for the March 1st tour. If no additional participants join, unfortunately, it will not be possible to run the tour on that date. For March 8th, a group has already been formed, so the departure is confirmed. Please note that single private rooms are more expensive, so we are unable to offer a discount for this option. However, we can confirm a private room at the normal shared room price, in case that a group is formed.
