After you arrive in Delhi, make your own way to the hotel where you'll meet your Travel Director and other travelers. Get a feel for India's capital city, then head out for dinner to try some of the local food scene.

- Day 2
Delhi
Walk through Old Delhi's crowded streets and busy bazaars to see the red sandstone Jama Masjid. You'll take a cycle rickshaw ride through the lanes, then head to Raj Ghat where Gandhi's ashes are scattered. After that, check out New Delhi's government buildings and tree-lined avenues before stopping at Humayun's Tomb. The evening is free, or you can join an optional food tour if you want.

Delhi to Agra
Travel to Agra and spend time at the Taj Mahal, one of the world's most iconic monuments. If you're interested, there's an option to see Agra Fort with its palaces like Jahangir Palace and Khas Mahal. Watch how the light changes the white marble to pink and gold as the day goes on, then walk inside to see the tombs and the famous 'Diana's bench' photo spot.

- Day 4
Agra to Jaipur
Head toward Jaipur, the 'Pink City'. If you want to wake early, there's an option to catch the Taj Mahal at sunrise. On the way, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city built in 1569. After lunch, settle into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring. You might catch the Aarti Ceremony at Birla Temple and have dinner afterward.

- Day 5
Jaipur
Start in Jaipur at Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. From there, ride up to Amber Fort by jeep to see its Rajasthani architecture, miniature paintings, stones and mirrors. Visit the Maharaja's City Palace with its courtyards and gardens, then check out the four painted doors at Pritam Niwas Chowk that represent the seasons. Next, head to Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO site and one of the world's largest astronomical observatories. The afternoon is yours to wander the Pink City or join an optional market visit.

Jaipur to Jodhpur
Travel to Jodhpur, the 'Blue City', which sits high on a hilltop. Check out the massive 16th-century Mehrangarh Fort that rises 393 feet above the plains with seven gates and towers. Walk through its palace collections of Rajput miniature paintings and museums. Then head down to Jaswant Thada, an impressive white marble structure built in 1899 with carved screens and portraits of Rathore rulers. If you want, take a tuk tuk ride and walk through the Old City in the evening.

Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
Travel from Jodhpur to Udaipur and stop at Ranakpur, home to one of India's largest Jain temples. See the white marble Chaumukha Mandir temple with its 29 halls, 80 domes, 400 columns and 1,444 carved pillars decorated with elephants, flowers and people. Look at the domed ceilings and corridors with carvings of nymphs and maidens, then continue on to Udaipur.

Udaipur

Visit the Jagdish Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, then walk through Sahelion Ki Bari, the Garden of the Maidens. Take a scenic drive around Fatehsagar Lake. The afternoon is yours to choose from trekking to a Bhil tribe village, cruising Lake Pichola, visiting Monsoon Palace, or exploring on your own.

Udaipur to Mumbai
Fly to Mumbai, India's largest city, for an afternoon of sightseeing. Visit Dhobi Ghat, a 140-year-old open-air laundromat where thousands of clothes get hand-washed daily. See Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO site and great example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture. Stop at Churchgate station to watch the Dabbawallas sort lunch boxes, then visit Mani Bhavan where Gandhi lived, pass Crawford Market and Flora Fountain, and see Marine Drive with its sparkling nighttime views.

This morning, you have two options. Take a boat to the Elephanta Caves on the Island of Elephanta to see cave temples from the 5th to 8th centuries with carved panels. Or join a Bollywood tour to learn about India's television and cinema industry. This evening, sit down for a Farewell Dinner with soup, salad, local specialities, roti and naan breads.
