- KKat· July 9th, 2022Beware!! Emerald changes ships without notification We received our paperwork a few days before our cruise departure and found out that we’re not cruising on the DESTINY ship. EMERALD changed our ship to SKY. We booked wanting to go on a newer ship and now we’re going on an older ship. Called EMERALD and they said according to the fine print they can make this modification to our cruise. Ok, BUT WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED OF THIS CHANGE. We’re screwed because we leave in a few days. They offered nothing other than we’re sorry. This is how terrible EMERALD treats their customers so BEWARE of their lousy business practices.Show moreTrip date: July 2022

That part was the nicest part. Otherwise, we were shuttled to and fro a very extra amount and had to stay at a hotel in Bratislava for three days. I know it was not your fault, but many other travelers had been notified in advance, which we were not. We may have been able to make alternate plans had we had advance notice. The boat stateroom was really tiny and stuffy. The food was, "eh." Not so good, not terrible. Very few vegetable options - not vegan, but would have liked more salad options. Waaaay too much roast beef and gravy entrees. The bus tours were very cramped and uncomfortable.Show moreTrip date: October 2018
