Bucharest
You'll land at Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport where a Uniworld representative meets you if you've booked their arrival transfer. They'll take you to your hotel so you can settle in and get oriented.



- Day 2
Bucharest
This is your day to explore Bucharest at your own pace. The city's center has plenty to see, from its broad avenues to local neighborhoods, and you can wander around however you like without a structured itinerary.

- Day 3
Bucharest - Giurgiu
Morning brings a panoramic city tour of Bucharest, which includes the People's Palace with its communist-era architecture and design. After that you'll board a motorcoach heading to Giurgiu where your ship is waiting to depart.

Ruse
The ship arrives in Ruse, Bulgaria, a former trading hub with elegant 19th-century buildings earning it the nickname 'Little Vienna'. You can choose between a visit to Veliko Tarnovo with an authentic Bulgarian meal, or walking through Ruse and seeing the Ivanovo and Basarbovo Monasteries.

Vidin

Cruising the Iron Gates - Donji Milanovac - Golubac
The Danube narrows here as you cruise through the Iron Gates gorges, one of the river's most dramatic sections. You'll visit a Paleolithic archaeological site and see Golubac Castle, a 14th-century fortress, from the water. Trajan's Plaque, an ancient Roman carving on the rock face, is visible from the ship. Choose between exploring the archaeological park and castle grounds or hiking up to the Kovilovo Viewpoint.

Belgrade
Belgrade appears before you, Serbia's capital with 7,000 years of history and a contemporary energy throughout. An evening concert at Kalemegdan Fortress is included. During the day you can either take a city tour visiting the Royal Palace grounds or bike around on an 'I Bike Belgrade' tour.
