Itinerary
- Day 1
Copenhagen
You'll arrive in Copenhagen and get picked up from the airport for transfer to your hotel. This is where you'll spend the next three nights and meet the other travelers on your tour along with your tour director. It's a good chance to settle in and get your bearings before things kick off tomorrow.


- Day 2
Copenhagen
Today you'll take a guided city tour and canal cruise through Copenhagen. The boat will take you past the colorful Nyhavn district with all its historic buildings and restaurants, and you'll also see Amalienborg Palace, which is where the Danish royal family lives. It's a nice way to see the main sights from the water.

Landmarks Nyhavn Amalienborg Palace - Day 3
Copenhagen
After breakfast, head to Christiansborg Palace to see where the Danish Parliament and Supreme Court are located. You can explore the palace grounds and learn about its history. The rest of your day is free to do what you want around Copenhagen. You might check out Tivoli Gardens, visit Rosenborg Castle, or just sit at a café and watch the city go by.

Copenhagen to Amsterdam
You'll have breakfast and then head to the airport for your flight to Amsterdam. Once you arrive, you'll board the Emerald Cruises Star-Ship, which will be your home for the next part of the journey. After you get settled, there's time to explore a bit or relax before dinner.

Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans
This morning you can either visit Zaanse Schans to see the historic windmills and wooden houses and watch artisans at work, or take a guided bike ride to Waterland through the countryside and past tulip fields. Later on the ship, a local clog painter will show how the craft is done and you can try painting your own.

Landmarks Zaanse Schans Waterland - Day 6
Rotterdam - Willemstad
Start the day at the Mauritshuis museum where you'll see paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer, including the famous 'Girl with the Pearl Earring'. In the afternoon, you can take a guided bike tour through the Dutch countryside if you want to stay active, or visit the Delft pottery factory or Royal Delft Tile Workshop on your own.

Rotterdam
You'll explore Rotterdam and see how the city rebuilt itself after World War II with a mix of old and modern architecture. The city has some impressive tall buildings, and the Witte Huis is a historic office building worth seeing. Or if you prefer, take a guided bike tour through the surrounding Dutch countryside instead.

Landmarks Witte Huis - Day 8
Antwerp
The ship takes you to Antwerp, Belgium's largest port. You'll walk through the city center with a guide, seeing the cobbled streets lined with cafés, the Renaissance town hall, and the Steen, an old medieval fortress. After the tour ends, you can explore on your own or take an optional trip to the medieval city of Bruges nearby.

- Day 9
Nijmegen
You'll arrive in Nijmegen, the oldest town in the Netherlands with roots going back to Roman times. A walking tour shows you the historic center and tells you about the International Four Days Marches that brings thousands of people to the town each year. If you're feeling up for it, there's also a guided bike ride along the scenic Waal river.

Amsterdam
Today you'll visit Keukenhof Gardens, which sits in the middle of the tulip farming region. The gardens have millions of different bulb varieties on display, all arranged by landscape experts. You can also choose optional activities like visiting the Royal FloraHolland flower auction, taking a Dutch apple pie making class, or going on a tour of Amsterdam's hidden gems.
