Jerusalem - Bethlehem
Start with breakfast, then spend the day exploring Jerusalem's New City. You'll see the Museum of Israel housing the Dead Sea Scrolls, walk around Hebrew University, and check out Ein Karen's Shrine of Saint John the Baptist. After that, head to Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. Later you'll travel to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds' Field with a Palestinian guide before returning to Jerusalem for the night.

- Day 3
Jerusalem
Start early exploring the Old City of Jerusalem. Head to Mount Scopus for views overlooking the walled city, then move on to Mount of Olives and Gethsemane's Basilica of the Agony. Walk the Via Dolorosa to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. By afternoon you'll finish at Mount Zion to see the Tomb of King David, Cenacle, and Abbey of the Dormition. Stay another night in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem to Amman
Leave early after breakfast heading to the Israel-Jordan border at Sheik Hussein Bridge. Once across, you'll explore the 12th-century Fortress of Ajlun and the historic Church of Saint Sergius. After lunch, visit the Roman archaeological site at Jerash before arriving in Amman for the night.

- Day 5
Amman
Visit the Desert Castles from the 7th-8th centuries, including Qasr Kharana and Qusayr Amra World Heritage Site known for its frescoes. Have lunch in Madaba and explore the Archaeological Park using an ancient Roman road, plus the Church of St. George with its 6th-century mosaic map. Finish at Mount Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land, then return to Amman with free time.

Dead Sea
Travel to Bethany on the Jordan River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Visit the Dead Sea Museum with its Panorama Complex. After lunch, arrive at your hotel on the Dead Sea and take a dip in the world's saltiest sea at the lowest altitude on Earth. Dinner and accommodation included.

- Day 7
Dead Sea to Wadi Musa (Petra)
Travel along the historic King's Road through Moab Kingdom territory. You'll visit the 12th-century Karak Castle at its hilltop location, then arrive in Dana, a stone village perched on a cliff, for lunch. Continue to Shobak to photograph the great Crusader Castle from outside, then head to Wadi Musa. Explore Moses Spring and the Petra Museum to learn about the Nabateans. Dinner included with optional activities like a Turkish bath or light and sound show.

Petra - Wadi Rum
Experience Petra through its dramatic narrow canyon with temples and tombs carved into red cliffs from 300 years before Christ. After lunch, venture into Wadi Rum desert. Board 4x4 vehicles at the Visitor Centre to explore the landscapes, including a 45-minute camel ride and a visit to Khazali Canyon to see ancient Arabic engravings. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.

- Day 9
Wadi Rum to Saint Catherine
Leave the desert for Aqaba, Jordan's second city on the Red Sea coast. Stroll through the center, then continue to the Israel-Egypt border at Eilat, arriving in this modern tourist city with great beaches. You'll have time to relax, have lunch, and maybe swim. Head toward the Egypt border at Sinai with photo opportunities of Pharaoh's Island and Saladin's fortress before arriving in Saint Catherine for the night with dinner included.

Saint Catherine - Cairo
Visit the walled Monastery of Saint Catherine at the foot of Mount Sinai, a sacred site where Moses is said to have seen the Burning Bush. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers spiritual significance and remarkable architecture. Travel through the Sinai Desert, stop at the Well of Moses, a biblical oasis site, then cross under the Suez Canal via tunnel to arrive in Cairo by late afternoon.

Explore the Egyptian Museum with ancient artifacts and treasures from Tutankhamen's Lost Tomb. After lunch, visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque. Then walk through the Coptic neighborhood to see the Hanging Church, built above a Roman fortress.

Explore Wadi Rayyan National Park with its saltwater lake, rare birds, and gazelles. Visit Wadi Al Hittan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for fossilized whales. Travel through the Nile Valley visiting sites revealing ancient Egypt's secrets. At Zawiyet Sultan explore a unique cemetery with adobe mausoleums of a pharaonic necropolis. Visit Beni Hassan's cliff necropolis with 39 tombs from 2125-1795 BC showing daily life scenes. After lunch, continue to the rarely visited Tombs of Mir from the Old and Middle Kingdom. At Deir El-Muharraq monastery, learn about the cave where Mary and Jesus stayed fleeing Herod. Arrive in Assiut provincial capital for dinner.

Cairo to Alexandria
Leave Cairo for the Wadi Natrum region known since the 4th century for its Coptic monasteries where Christians fled Roman persecutions. Visit Saint Macarius monastery founded in 360 with monk-led tours, then Anba Bishoy monastery founded in 340, accessed via drawbridge into the fortified tower. Tour the church, refectory, and fortress where several Coptic Popes are buried. Continue to Alexandria, a port city over 5 million inhabitants. After lunch, visit the Qaitbey fortress from 1480 on a narrow peninsula where a Hellenistic lighthouse once stood. Travel the cornice by bus with free time to explore. Accommodation included.

Alexandria
Continue exploring Alexandria entering the impressive Kom Ash Shuqqafa Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery in Egypt showing Pharaonic and Greco-Roman fusion. Walk through bustling alleys to the Column of Pompey, a 30-meter-high column on temple ruins. Stop to photograph the modern Library of Alexandria opened in 2002. After lunch, continue to Rosetta where the famous Rosetta Stone was found. See a replica at Rashid fortress in a picturesque fishing village. Walk through Rosetta's center viewing traditional Ottoman houses. Include a Nile boat trip to admire fishing activity and river views. Return to Cairo by day's end.
