You'll stay in a variety of accommodation types but to give you an idea: Nautilus Hotel (or similar) in Playa Del Carmen Enjoy Hotel (or similar) in Caye Caulker Hotel Venus (or similar) in San Ignacio and so forth. You will also do a local homestay so you get the true local experience!

For the May 3rd departure, we currently have 4 travellers confirmed: 4 females. Ages range from 24 to 29. Nationalities: British, Dutch, and Irish. It's shaping up to be a really nice group — all within a similar age range, which usually creates a fun, social, and easy-going dynamic. We also tend to see a few more bookings come through closer to the departure date. In terms of travelling in Mexico, our trips are designed with safety as a priority. You'll be accompanied by an experienced group leader throughout, and we operate in well-travelled areas that are popular with tourists. As with any destination, a bit of general awareness is always recommended, but overall Mexico is a fantastic and very popular place to travel with our groups.

I absolutely loved this trip! This was my fourth Tru trip, and I think it was my favorite one yet. Eve was such a lovely tour guide — I felt so well looked after the entire time. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to spend one night in San Ignacio and two nights in Flores instead. The end of the trip felt a little rushed with just one night in Flores, one in Panahajel, and one in the homestay before heading to Antigua. That said, flying from Flores to Guatemala City was such a great idea — it made the travel so much smoother. Overall, an amazing experience and one I’d highly recommend!Show more
