Itinerary
- Days 1 - 5
Seville - Granada - Toledo
You'll leave Madrid early morning in an air-conditioned coach heading toward Andalusia. The drive gives you time to settle in and get oriented with your guide. By afternoon you'll arrive in Córdoba, where you'll have a guided tour through the old city, checking out the famous Mezquita and wandering the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. Breakfast is included each day, so you start off fueled up. Dinner and free time in the evening let you explore at your own pace.

- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive at the airport and get transferred to your hotel. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is open for you to relax and get over any travel fatigue.

Barcelona to Madrid
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out from Barcelona toward Madrid. The drive takes you across central Spain, and you'll check into your Madrid hotel by evening.

- Day 3
Madrid
You'll start with breakfast, then join a morning panoramic tour covering Madrid's different eras. The route takes you through the medieval Barrio de la Moreira and the old Arabic fortress, then moves into the Habsburg district with Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, followed by the Royal Palace and fountains of Bourbon Madrid, and finishes in modern Madrid along Gran Vía and the Salamanca neighborhood. Your afternoon is free to walk around and discover things on your own.

Salamanca - Porto
After breakfast, you'll drive toward Porto, but first stop in Salamanca for some free time. This UNESCO World Heritage city has incredible architecture and artistic history worth exploring. From there, you continue toward the Portuguese border and arrive in Porto by evening.

Porto
Breakfast comes first, then you'll take a panoramic tour of Porto, another UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll see the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and Santa Clara church before heading to the Douro River for a scenic cruise on BlueBoats. After that, you visit a port wine cellar where there's a tasting included. The rest of your day is yours to spend however you like.

Coimbra - Fatima
You'll have breakfast and then drive to Coimbra, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and the birthplace of Fado music. You get free time to wander around before continuing to Fatima, a major pilgrimage destination. There you'll visit the Basilica, Cova da Iria, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and the shepherds' tombs. If you're interested, there's an optional candlelight procession in the evening.

Batalha - Nazaré - Alcobaça - Lisbon
After breakfast, you head to Batalha Monastery, a Gothic and Manueline masterpiece and UNESCO site. Next you'll reach the fishing town of Nazaré with time to explore, then continue to Alcobaça to see its Gothic church and 12th-century Cistercian monastery. By evening you'll be in Lisbon. There's an optional dinner with a traditional Fado performance available if you want it.

Breakfast at your hotel, then you'll join a morning sightseeing tour of Lisbon's main areas. You'll pass through key squares and avenues including Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoverers, Marquis of Pombal Square, and Liberty Avenue. The afternoon is free, and many people head to Alfama Quarter with its narrow streets near the castle, traditional tabernas, and Fado music.

Caceres - Cordoba
After breakfast, you'll leave early at 7:30 a.m. for Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage city mixing Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic, and Italian Renaissance styles. You'll walk through Plaza Mayor and check out the Medieval Quarter, then continue east to Córdoba, which served as the capital during the Caliphate period.

Seville

Seville
After breakfast, you'll join a morning panoramic tour of Seville starting with the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world. From there you'll explore the Santa Cruz quarter, which inspired the Carmen stories and the Don Juan legend, and see Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Your afternoon is free to discover more of what the city offers.

Granada
You'll drive east through the Caliphate road into the heart of Andalusia, passing olive groves along the way to Granada. The main event is the Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens, the last Moorish stronghold until 1492. These sites have inspired writers and artists for centuries.

Valencia
After breakfast, you head toward the Mediterranean coast, passing through Alicante in the Valencia region. Valencia is also known worldwide for paella, so food lovers will appreciate being here.

Tarragona - Barcelona
You'll start with breakfast, then take a morning tour of Valencia's old city and see the impressive Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias complex from the old Turia riverbed. In early afternoon, you head north along the Mediterranean coast through Tarragona, the ancient Roman city, arriving in Barcelona by evening.

Then you'll visit Montjuïc Park for city views, the Olympic Ring, and the Columbus monument. Your afternoon is open for exploring the city and its food scene.
