Darwin
You'll land in Darwin and get picked up from the airport to start your Northern Territory trip. Aboriginal Bush Traders is your first stop, where you can try native food and look at indigenous art. After that, you'll walk through Darwin's main areas and see Parliament House, Government House, and some restored historic buildings that show the city's history.

Darwin to Kakadu National Park
From Darwin, you're heading out for a full day starting with a wetland cruise at Corroboree Billabong where crocodiles and colorful birds show up regularly. Then it's on to Kakadu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to check out the Murrawaddi Art Gallery and indigenous artwork. You'll wrap up the day with a degustation dinner at the Mercure Crocodile Hotel.

There's time for lunch on your own, then you're taking the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise on the East Alligator River with local Aboriginal guides talking about traditional customs and the wildlife you'll see.

Kakadu National Park to Katherine
You're traveling to Katherine and meeting the Curtin family first thing. The Katherine Outback Experience comes next, showing you horsemanship, working dogs, and how people live out here. Evening brings you to Cicada Lodge in Nitmiluk National Park where you'll have dinner surrounded by bush landscape.

Katherine
After breakfast, you'll head to Katherine Hot Springs for a mid-morning soak in the thermal waters. Lunch in Katherine is free time so you can do what you want. Later you're cruising through Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge to see the tall cliffs and ancient rock formations, then a sunset dinner cruise goes through the gorge before heading back to Cicada Lodge.

Katherine to Darwin
You'll have one final breakfast at Cicada Lodge before driving to Leliyn (Edith) Falls, a natural spot where you can swim in cool water with paperbark and pandanus trees all around. After that, it's north on the Stuart Highway back to Darwin, finishing your Northern Territory trip with landscapes and cultural experiences behind you.
