Arrival in Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo airport and meet your representative who handles your transfer to the hotel. After checking in, you'll have time to settle and get comfortable with views of the city around you.

Giza Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum
Following breakfast, you'll head to the Pyramids of Giza to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. After lunch, you'll walk through the Grand Egyptian Museum where around 100,000 items and artifacts show Egypt's 7,000-year history.

After breakfast you'll travel to Alexandria to check out ancient sites like the Catacombs of Kom El-Shokafa, where Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles blend together. Then you'll see Pompey's Pillar, the Qaitbay Citadel built where the ancient Pharos Lighthouse stood, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Islamic Cairo and Museums
Following breakfast back in Cairo, you'll spend time at the Egyptian Museum looking at thousands of artifacts from over 7,000 years. Then you'll visit the Hanging Church for Coptic Christian history, followed by Islamic sites including the Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. You'll also tour the Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatimi architectural museum and end at Khan El-Khalili market.

After breakfast, you'll explore Islamic Cairo starting at Salah El Din Citadel with its mosques, castles, and museums. The day includes the Muhammad Ali exhibit and the Alabaster Mosque known for its Ottoman-era design. You'll also visit the Sultan Hassan Mosque, Al Rifai Mosque, and Ibn Tulun Mosque to see the range of Islamic Cairo's architecture.
