  I enjoyed where we went. My main criticism of europamundo would be that it is a little bit impersonal.....as we traveled 25 days altogether with them, we found that you dont get to know fellow travellers very well as you get divided up every day or two with new guides for the day. Their organization is pretty amazing with hundreds of tourists criss- crossing the network and you get taken to different hotels from others you might meet. Sometimes you might be on the bus 1 or 2 hours of pickups before you start the travels. That can be pretty tiring if you have a long journey that day, or miss out on local sights is annoying. Also, you have very long waits for meal times in a city centre.....on one occasion in Lisbon it was 8 hours from drop off in the city centre until bus transfer back to the hotel, after a morning on the bus looking around the city. A great activity, but a hotel transfer at the end would have been a good option if you were tired from getting up for 7am breakfast. Generally a hotel transfer in lots of situations would have been welcomed, and at the end of the days activity, a transfer is always what is required, but sometimes you have to make your own way back to the hotel eg. in Paris, which was expensive in a taxi if you didn't have anything other than wifi to discover where you should go. On that particular trip it was because there were 3 hotels quite a long way apart, but I didn't think that was my fault!Show more

  The tour was a good value and enjoyable. There was a good balance of tours and free time. The hotels were nice and in good locations. Our local guide in Madrid, Julieanna, was excellent. She made sure that full instructions were given and repeated several times and she was available for suggestions and questions. The second part of the trip, to Lisbon, was not as good given that most narration was in Spanish. Our guide, Pedro, did his best to repeat what was said in English, but I feel we might have missed some things. Touring was done via coach with very short stops outside of the bus, no additional tours were included (museum, walking, etc.). Pedro was very helpful with things to see and do in our free time. I do feel that the tour was a good value and highly recommend Tour Radar and EuropaMundo.Show more

  Please take into account that your categories may not account for my experience. My troubles commenced on the morning of day three when I was waiting in the hotel reception for the pick-up for the half-day Lisbon tour which I had been informed by the guide was scheduled for 9 am. At 9.15 I was told by reception that the guide had arrived at 8am and left at 8.12. The problem was that the time I was given by the tour guide was Spain time which is based on the hour earlier than Portugal. Reception said that they called me at 8.11am. Yes, they did; I answered and there was no response. I assumed it was a wake-up call to which, in each day previous, I had responded but never had a voice response. So when I got a second call a couple of minutes later, I picked up and set down the receiver. Following the reception information, I spent some time ringing Eurpopamund and waiting for a response; being informed to ring back 15 mins later to speak to an English communicator... In short, two hours later I was making my own way towards a hop-on-off bus ticket. In the meantime, the tour guide had been contacted and indicated that I would be picked up to join the transfer to the delegated Lisbon destination that evening. Guess what... I arrived at the hotel reception at 6.26pm. Approximately, 10 mins later the hotel reception said that the guide had come and gone at about 6.27pm!! I made my own way. So day 4 was a shambles as far as the official tour is concerned. I managed but experienced disappointment and pressure. When I sign up for tours it is due to the appeal of local expertise - having others to organise and know what to highlight. I also like the social interaction of tours. I missed that on day 4 and who knows the extent to which there was contact with day 5. I missed that on day 4 at least. For that reason, I wish to receive a refund. I am happy to leave that to your discretion for now but will correspond further pending outcome.Show more

In reference to your message, we want to inform you that our coordinator had put the informative poster at the hotel for the services on 12th July as you can verify the same in the attached document (in the BCP of your tour). We always recommend to check the informative poster as the timings mentioned in the detailed itinerary are orientated. Regarding the evening transfer, the timings are not mentioned and as per guide , he was there but we don´t have any manner to justify about this besides in the evening transfer it was free time after arriving at city centre. In this case, we have decided to reimburse the ticket of HOP- ON- OFF We kindly request you to send the ticket- Best regards Wendy from Europamundo
