    Unfortunately, this tour has a minimum age requirement of 15 years, so we wouldn't be able to accommodate a 12-year-old traveller on this departure.

  I'm recommending this tour to our mutual travellers. They're a group of 6-8 seniors who are travelling from Canada and would like a fully guided experience including pickup from the airport. Additionally, they'd like to know if your team can help with pricing out flights from Toronto to the Japan.

Our trips do not include the cost of international airfare, which allows our travellers to join the adventure from their desired location.

    You are very welcome to join the tour as a solo traveller, there are no restrictions for solo bookings, and there are no additional charges for solo travellers. Please note that the minimum age requirement for this trip is 15. However, please note that for this Japan trip, we are currently unable to offer a single supplement, airport transfers, or additional accommodation due to limited availability.

    If the daughter is approved to go, my client would like to extend her stay in Osaka for several additional nights after the tour ends. Can you advise whether post-tour hotel nights can be added through the operator, or if I should arrange separate accommodations?

    We can check with our local team for a possible age exemption for the child. In some cases, we may allow up to 12 months difference, but this is not guaranteed and depends on approval from the local team and safety rules.

    Most of the hotels should have a paid breakfast option, or the trip leader will point out some options near by or on the way to your next destination if applicable that day. Your trip leader will always be sure that you have adequate options wherever you go and ensure the group always remains well fed!

    How large of a group are you travelling with? Are you looking for a private tour? The Japan Express does have a group size maximum of 16 so if you had a small group looking to join one of our public departures 2027 pricing and availability is already listed for booking. If you're looking for something private I will have to reach out to our tailormade team to see what is possible for you and your group!

    I am looking for something tailormade, but similar to the Japan Express. I have an art history learning group, and we want to travel to Japan. Most of my group is 60+ years old. Experiences, cultural activities, fast travels, good hotels, excellent food are key points.
    
    I would love to consider cultural in-depth activities, rest days (in past experiences that has been necessary) and tour guides where I can explain so we can create a specific tour for the group including what we have been studying.
    Due to my personal agenda, I always travel with my husband and kids (they are currently 4 yo and 20 months old) so I need to consider them as well.

    Due to the nature of your request, we would recommend taking this trip as a private group departure as oppose to joining one of our group departures. This allows you more freedom and flexibility with your itinerary based on the needs of your group. We would love to include your family as well on this exciting trip and can ensure the pace of the trip is moderate for everyone.
    
    1) Do you like the inclusions and flow of our Japan Express itinerary? If so, we can quote this on a private basis for you.
    2) When in 2027 would you like to travel?
    3) With regards to the accommodation, Japan Express is a Basix trip which means accommodation will likely be around 3 star. Is that suitable for the group? We can certainly upgrade the accommodation if that is preferred.
    4) Where is everyone located? Will everyone be arriving and departing Japan together? We will be able to assist with the land portion of your trip. International flights will be your own responsibility.
    5) How much is the group hoping to spend on this trip?
    6) Are you looking to get commissionable rates for this trip?
    7) Would you like us to include a complimentary spot for you on this trip?
    8) What rooming configuration is preferred? How many beds in each room?

    I created a Spreadsheets file with 2 options: Option A, Option B without Nikko. But I guess in both scenarios I missed: Mount Fuji, Takayama and Naoshima. If there's the possibility to add them and not create a super tight tour, that would be great.
    
    About your questions:
    1. I don't know if we can; can you plase check the ideas and then can we work on what's best?
    2. I think November 2027. / For that I would need to have everything as soon as possible for me to launch the trip to the group in August 2026.
    3. If 3 stars has good bed, breakfast and location, I think it could work. If a 4* is a better option and doesn't make the trip way expensive, that would be best.
    4. 80% of my students come from Mexico City, but some others are in other countries: USA, Spain, Dominican Rep.
    5. It depends on the # of days we need for the tour
    6. Yes, I usually add fees for El Tour de Arte. Mainly because we work a full year before departure in courses specifically tailored for the tour, materials, etc.
    7. Yes please. Because of the tours length I usually travel in the same room with my husband and both my kids, so having a complimentary spot is amazing for family economy
    8. Usually there are couples traveling together, but I offer the 3 main configurations: SINGLE, DOUBLE (two beds for friends OR onw king size for couples), and if possible TRIPLE rooms.
    9. Both options, I have an already interested group and will launch for some potential travelers as well.... If we can define the MAX number of participants, that would be helpful.
    Last year we went to Egypt (5 stars, all inclusive, 12 days, 1800 USD) and the initial 20 spots went up to 50 people travelling.
    10. It depends on all tour specifics: dates, destinations, $ (mainly $).
    
    The thing is: this tour is for most of the group the ONLY time they'll visit Japan, so we need to create an amazing experience. Plus, this is a cultural academical related program, so for us to spend most of the time in cultural experiences is necessary. Also, a not so tirying schedule, fast transfers and good time to sleep is crucial.

    Japan Express has a maximum group size of 16 people. Currently for the May 23rd departure date there are 6 people confirmed and this is a guaranteed deparutre. Out of that 6, there are 2 in their 30s, 1 in their 40s, 2 in their 50s, 1 in their 60s. All are English speaking as our tours are operated exclusively in English.
