What a wonderful tour! Our guide (Catarina) was amazing! Such knowledge of Portuguese and art history! Our driver (Jonathan) navigated even the tightest streets with care and ease. With all the beautiful 4 star hotels, wonderful sights, restaurants, and shopping - the best part of the trip were our small group companions. We have vowed to stay connected and travel again with Overland Tours. Obrigabo!!

I loved my visit to Portugal. The tours and hotels are planned out but some of the meeting points for the tours were a 20 minutes walk from the hotel or a cab ride away. For one of the meeting Tours in Lisbon, the meeting point was not clear and I had to spend 20 minutes, trying to figure out where we had to meet. The Cintra tour was less than I expected. I wish Pena palace was included or at least been given the option to pay for a full day of central and Cascais.

The hotel was very comfortable and well located. The daily hikes were really interesting, as a result of the excellent local guides who shared their knowledge and experience of the island. I found the hikes much more challenging than expected from the description of 'soft trekking' suitable for people up to age 90. The terrain was difficult at times and the hikes involved a lot of up and down hill.
