Having previously travelled with eight organized tour groups, I found this experience disappointing. The guide frequently referred to paying for meals, tips and local guides herself, although these costs were included in the tour price. I also did not enjoy the assigned bus seating. As a solo traveller, I would have preferred the flexibility to sit with people I had connected with during the trip. I understood that early departures were necessary. However, the tour guide chatted continuously during the bus journeys, including during the early morning hours. Providing some quiet time would have allowed passengers the opportunity to rest. The accommodations were also disappointing. With the exception of the hotel in Charlottetown, the level of cleanliness was below what I would expect on an organized tour. The itinerary had enjoyable aspects, but these issues significantly affected my overall experience.Show more

It had no restaurant and the office failed to call room when we requested a wakeup call for 6am both days we were there. Luckily we had set our phones as backup so we didn't miss our bus and breakfast. The breakfasts were good. (you actually advertised the Hilton which was located on the waterfront. I felt like I was getting a bait and switch. Other hotels were great.) 2. Meals were generally good. Lobster supper was superior. Farewell dinner and lunch at a small gas station bus stop were not as good.. 3. Tour guide and on site guides were great 4.
