At the moment, you should not need any additional documents beyond your standard travel documents. We always recommend double-checking closer to departure with your airline and official government sites, as entry requirements can change. All airlines do recommend arriving at the airport about 3 hours before your international flight departure. For your convenience, airport pick-up and drop-off are included in this adventure. Once your flights are booked, you can simply share your flight details with us and we will coordinate all the transfers for you.

There will not be a boat tour in Aveiro however, you will experience a traditional rabelo boat tour on the Douro River before heading to a winery for a lunch and wine tasting with entertainment.

The prices indicated on your website are confusing. One part says $2,506 per person based on double occupancy. When I select the tour, it immediately increase in cost to $2,709.64 per person. Why doesn't the cost stay at $2,506?

The prices can vary depending on your travel dates or accommodation as well. Please advise which date you are most interested in and if you would be sharing a room with another passenger in double occupancy and I will update your quote on this page to reflect you preferences.

Is this tour doable for my mother? She is 83 years old, able to walk. moderately slow. without any aids or sometimes with a walking stick. she is able to walk far but just moderately slow. Please advise.

To answer your question, non of our tour are too strenuous. This package is rated 2 out of 5 in terms of intensity. There are some easy physical activities (walking) included in your trip but no physical preparation is required to make the most of the journey. If she is able to walk a few kms a day with breaks in between, she will most definitely be good to go.

Is transportation always provided? Do I need to find my own transportation at any point during this tour? Is there always a place to store our luggage...on a bus or hotel...we do not want to be dragging our lugage around as we tour. Can I get more specifics about the tour regarding sites we actually go inside of or just drive through. Also there are 3 of us. Are ther accomodations for 3 people?

Excellent itinerary! Appreciate all of the different cities and sites that were covered. However, was not aware that this was a big bus tour with 47 people. I would never have booked if I had known. With this kind of tour, people need to be aware that there is walking and steps (moderate activity). Our half days were full days because people could not keep up and we spent extra time waiting to make sure everyone is accounted for. Therefore, our evenings that were suppose to be free time to explore were unfortunately cut short. Also, with this number of people, more than one tour guide should be assigned. When issues came up, the whole group suffered, waiting to have a single persons conflict addressed.Show more
