  I would not use Tourradar or its operator, Wanderful Holidays again. First there was not the promised pickup at the Libson airport so I had to call the emergency contact and leave a message. Then the first Libson hotel was very bad...you had to carry you luggage up a flight of steps with no handrail just to get to the old lift at floor zero. Then take that to find a person at reception at floor 1. The room sink countertop was varnished plywood and 6 ft window over sink with shutters had massive paint curled and peeling. The old floors creaked loudly. The tour company booked tours for my first two days departing hotel before their breakfast service even started at 8am...so no buffet breakfast for me. You could do this tour without them and save hundreds through Portugal by simply online booking minivan tours through "Livingtours" and taking Uber or taxis to their tour office to then catch tours. That is what Tourradar did. I was alone and sat with strangers on minivan half day or full day tours with Livingtours. I almost missed my scheduled train from Libson to Porto because Tourradar clearly did not allow enough time, even for moving traffic of 40 minutes. I never got to my assigned 1st class seat ( I sat 11 cars away in second class) because there was not time to move to my reserved seat/car down the platform. The second hotel was better, in Porto, but they booked me , a 300 lb man in a twin bed. I could not even push the twins together because of a fixed, mounted to the wall side table between them. Sleep was not good. On one of the Porto day trips I had to pay for lunch on my own, even though voucher/itinerary said " included lunch". I did seek reimbursement from Tourradar on that. The tour operator company was too wordy and lengthy in their call center communications via What's App. I would not book travel through them.Show more

  We thank you for taking the time to write this review. Having said that, a few things do not fit right. We did see a major delay in your flight arrival in Lisbon. This meant we had to juggle between a few drivers to ensure someone was present when you came out. We did apologise for the delay, as you would have seen. For the Lisbon hotel, our team requested you to write a small review describing the hotel so that they could have actioned it straight away, but we never received any review from your side. As for the tours, European tours do involve some walking, and you cannot really see the sights in their full vigor without it. We also see that a Fado show with dinner and drinks was given to you as a goodwill gesture, but we do not see any mention of the same in your above review. Additionally, the lunch reimbursement was made while you were still on the tour. We would like to assure you that our tours include all the highlights and showcase both the cultural and modern sides of the destination. We do agree that the lunch mentioned on the voucher was missed, but it was later reimbursed along with the tip you gave to the waiter at the restaurant. Thanks & Regards, Team Wanderful Holidays

  We would rather have had the "enhanced fee" simply added to the total cost of the "tour" so that we would have been picked up at our hotel for the various tours and not have had to make our own way to meeting places that were often hard to find, often in the dark, and walking on wet cobblestones. It was also difficult finding our way around railway stations and airports and boarding trains with our luggage. It was not explained clearly how much we would be responsible for on our own if we did not opt for the extra cost. It is misleading calling yourself a tour company when what you actually do is facilitate tours with other companies. We will not be recommending your company to other travelers.Show more

We do try to be very specific about the tour style and do mention this in our tour descriptions; however, we are sorry that it was not very clear for you.   I am impressed on the transfers as they were on time except the one in public in Macdonald in Lisbon where I was harassed by a strangers after just being pickpocketed Hotels were excellent I do not have complain especially in Albufeira where everything is free. I think flying to Porto to Albufiera would have been better Train ride for 6 hours with no good on first class is unheard I don’t drink and am not Catholic and two tours doesn’t apply to me. I will still do a tour with TourRadar because I can depend on you guys except when lady didn’t believed I got pickpocketedShow more

  The Wanderful Holiday staff was easy to communicate with via What's App. Our hotels were clean and in great locations with great staff. We all felt we got a nice overview of all Portugal had to offer on the tours. However, we wish there would have been a person to guide us from our driver drop off point to our designated tour bus or Tour Ticket office that had our prepaid scheduled tour. That was confusing. Our favorite days were the 2 days we had a private guide and transportation for the day in Lisbon/Pena Palace and Porto/Duro Valley. Think that is what we had anticipated more having booked a "group" tour for the first time.Show more

  Enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially Bruno. Rides were on time and drivers were helpful. Seeing Fatima was nice but the overall experience there disappointed. It was basically a long drive out and back. The train rides were enjoyable and something we Americans rarely experience. Porto was lovely and "busy." Very nice accommodations at Porto Trindade and The Patio. The Neya Hotel was rather sterile compared to the others. The winery tours at Fonseco, Croft, etc and the river cruises were a highlight for our group - especially the guide David and bus driver Paulo. Amaranth was a nice stop with the church visit. Frankly, the airport experiences, which was beyond your control, left us disappointed.Show more

  Best Trip to Portugal!! My husband and I had an amazing trip to Portugal!! The Tour company took care of every little detail so we could just relax and enjoy the trip. We met so many new friends on the different daily tours and the hotels and transportation are top notch! If we ever had a question we could just message them and they got right back to us!
