The Explore tour itself was wonderful: a great guide, a lovely bunch of fellow travellers, a variety of walks/hikes, plus the added bonus of the Christmas lights and festivities. I was not happy however with the service by Tourradar who failed to book two extra nights I had requested: in future I will aim to work directly with the tour provider rather than an intermediary.

The Walking in Madeira Tour was amazing! There was a good balance of various hikes, activities, and travel time between destinations. Filipe was very knowledgeable and looked after the group well. We hope to come back again in the future!

Our guide didn't have much knowledge about the area. Apart from telling us where we were going each day, we weren't told about history of the area or anything?? What made the tour great was the people we walked with.
