The Explore tour itself was wonderful: a great guide, a lovely bunch of fellow travellers, a variety of walks/hikes, plus the added bonus of the Christmas lights and festivities. I was not happy however with the service by Tourradar who failed to book two extra nights I had requested: in future I will aim to work directly with the tour provider rather than an intermediary.
Walking in Madeira (Christmas)The adventures we went on as a family will be remembered forever! Rafting, surfing, hiking, picnics…it was so fun! All of these activities could have been stressful with 3 young children, but our guide David was well-prepared and made sure everything went smoothly! He shared his knowledge about local sites, history, geography, gastronomy…he was so kind and awesome and our whole family thinks he’s just the best thing ever. We would definitely book another adventure tour if we knew he would be heading it!
Family Active PortugalTours were very good and full itinerary. They did not skimp on time you had. The leaders were also very nice, knowledgeable and did not rush you. That made a big difference to us. The only thing that happened was we missed our first day tour due to a communication mess up. It was originally a free day but changed to a tour day. It was too late for us to know but the tour company did their best to make up for it.
