  All our guides were amazing that we had for our excursions and the customer service from Vania we received before and during our trip was exceptional. The hotels were always at great locations and on the boutique side, very close to everything and we felt very safe. We will definitely be using them again for future trips.Show more

As far, I understood, you have choosen the wrong tour for your visit to our country, since Charming Portugal, as described in Tour Radar, doesn't have any beaches tours included, I think the right fit for you should have been - Sea and Country side.   My wife and I just returned from the best of Portugal in 11 Days tour. We had an amazing time. The staff that we dealt with at Portugal Travel Center was extremely responsive and flexible. We made a few modifications to the first day of our trip and also to the last day, and we were able to work those out without any problems. All of the hotels we stayed in were excellent and were located in the heart of the cities. Our tour guides and drivers were also very good. They were very knowledgeable, personable, and spoke great English. We had a few glitches along the way, but Portugal Tavel Center quickly addressed those issues to our satisfaction. Overall, we were very happy with the process and the product, and would not hesitate to use Portugal Travel Center in the future.Show more

  Absolutely fantastic company to deal with, don't hesitate to use them! Mar 2023 • Friends My girlfriend and I just got back from a dream Portugal trip from 3/3/23-3/13/23. I want to start by saying... DON'T HESITATE TO USE THIS COMPANY!!! We customized our trip with Daniela who is an ABSOLUTE pleasure to work with, and so incredibly responsive! We had great tour guides particularly Pedro in Lisbon. We had a couple of cruises, a cooking class, top notch dinners and lunches. We saw so much of Portugal in the short time we were there due to the precise planning Daniela organized and we actually customized it a bit more when we were there. It was very important to me to see some synagogues and for some reason I failed to mention that prior to going but... Daniela did her magic. She got us into one of the oldest synagogues in Europe in Tomar and into another synagogue in Porto. So very much appreciated. Can't wait to use Portugal Travel Center again and thank you so much for an unforgettable vacation.Show more

  My husband and I went on The Relais and Chateaux Tour but it was not an option in this review page to choose. This tour featured hotels that were a part of this Relais and Chateaux group of hotels. All of the hotels were absolutely breathtaking and usually had some sort of cool history or story behind them. The service and people that ran every place was way beyond expectations. I particularly fell in love with the Yeatman in Porto but would honestly recommend and go back to all of them (Yeatman in Porto, Quinta Nova in the Douro, Fortaleza do Guincho in Cascais, The Bela Vista Hotel in Portimão, and the Palácio Ludovice Wine Experience in Lisbon). To start, Daniela is amazing at what she does. She was so professional yet genuine from the moment I emailed her more than a year before our trip. This was our first trip overseas, so we really did not know even where to start with planning a big trip like this. We also did not know that much about Portugal and were open to anything and everything; we just wanted to be completely immersed and see as much as possible. This trip had everything. I truly feel like I got to see a majority of the country in just 11 days. We were able to go to Porto, Minho region, Guimarães, Douro Valley, Coimbra, Cascais, Lisbon, Sintra, Evora, Portimão, and Lagos. We got to learn so much about culture, history, wine and food! Daniela was also so responsive to us even while we were on the trip and had questions. She created a trip that made us absolutely fall in love with Portugal! It was incredible to be able to just relax and follow the itinerary, knowing that we were going to be able to see so much. All of the other self-planned trips that we have done can get so stressful trying to figure out the logistics of everything. The other part that made this trip were all of our guides. They were so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was so nice to have locals to be able to really get to know and appreciate the country. It was also a must to not have to worry about navigating and parking - this in itself saved us so much time and allowed us to see more. 1) Francisco showed us around Porto, the Minho Region, Guimarães and took us on our trek to the hotel in the Douro valley. He went out of his way a few times to drop us off at specific locations that we wanted to see more off. He got stuck with us at the beginning of the trip when we were wanting to learn pronunciations of Portuguese words. He was so understanding with us wanting to learn and helped at every opportunity. He had a awesome sense of humor and we had so much fun with him! He was definitely a part of why Porto was our favorite out of the whole trip! 2) Carlos drove us around the Douro Valley. His energy and love of the Douro Valley was infectious! He was awesome at stopping at all of the viewpoints and offering to take pictures of us (which is always so nice since it's hard to get a picture together when it's only the two of us). He stayed late to let us go to an extra Quinta that he suggested besides the one that was already on our tour! He also showed us modern Fado singers on Spotify in car which was so cool! 3) Pedro - poor Pedro was stuck with us for 5 days! He was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met. We asked him a million questions about the history of everything we saw as well as questions about modern day Portugal and I do not think there was even one questions he could not answer. It was so cool to be able to ask about everyday life in Portugal. He was so personable and the love and pride he had for his country was so obvious every day. I am sure he has done that tour a 100+ times but you would never know with his excitement on every topic. He also was so incredibly flexible with things that we wanted to see and do. We will 100% be coming back to use Daniela and the Portugal Travel Center when we are able to go to the Azores and Madeira. I have already told anyone and everyone I know about her amazing company and the great work that she does.Show more

  This wasn't exactly our tour but..... Spectacular is the only word I can use to describe our trip, and Daniela at the Portugal Travel Center. Daniela modified one of their original trips to accommodate our wishes. We took out a few things and added a few things. They couldn't have been easier to work with. Our guides were spectacular, especially Pedro in Lisbon. If you knew nothing about Lisbon before the trip, he made you fall in love with it. Our accommodations were top notch, our included meals were fantastic as well as the Fado show. Daniela was so accommodating that even at the last minute she was able to change our schedule a bit to get us into a few synagogues which I really wanted to see and failed to mention prior to our trip. I could go on and on and on. But in a nutshell, don't feel any hesitation to book a trip through Portugal Travel Center. Worth every single penny we paid.Show more

  Wonderful overview of Portugal where we saw quite a few special sites through the itinerary and enjoyed the beautiful landscape of the interior. The Duoro valley was spectacular! Even with a lot of the transportation included we've opted to hire a car for some days and while we were slightly afraid of it, in the end it just brought more value to the trip. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get to know Portugal.Show more

  Second time in Portugal after a Lisbon city break and we were looking for a more complete itinerary that took us through the iconic places of Portugal. With the hopes to not be chunked in any tourist bus. The itinerary was great, and PTC's support with Dany was 24/7 before and during the trip. We've opted for a mix of transfers and car rental and the directions were always precise and spot on to what we were looking for. Couldn't recommend more.Show more

They made the whole itinerary, took car of the hotels and car rental and we just needed to show vouchers on our phone. Convenient right?
