Where and when do we reserve step-through ebikes? Also, can or do you provide helmets ("lovingly used" helmets are OK)?

We'd recommend requesting e-bike upgrades at the time of booking as we do have a limited number available per departure. Following best safety practices, we do not rent out any helmets on our cycling tours as we cannot guarantee that they haven't been previously dropped. All travellers are required to bring their own helmets for this trip, or you can purchase one locally upon arrival in Porto.

What kind of bikes do you provide?

All you need to bring is your own helmet and water bottle. Electric bikes (available for an additional supplement from GBP£200) will be a Stevens Lavena PT5. These have a low step-through frame, and are suitable for heights from 153cm to 190cm. Please note these are subject to availability on a first come first served basis and the cost is subject to change.

Yes! We have e-bikes available clothing they come at an additional cost of £200 per person.

All of the rides were enjoyable, and satisfied my need to build my confidence for upcoming tours of increasing difficulty. One of the features of this tour different from others I've taken was that the tour guide and support vehicle driver coordinated to collect a lunch fund for the week and provided a roadside lunch for the group. This was a great way to keep us on schedule, build friendships and eat healthy. Some might prefer to stop at local establishments, but I think this group unanimously appreciated this approach to lunch breaks.Show more

  Since the tour starts on Sunday, September 5, we will need two nights lodging in Porto. One of the possibilities is for you to book in the same hotel that you will be using as the welcoming hotel. Let us know if you can book those extra two nights for us, and what the cost might be?
