River Cruise Tours & Trips in Portugal
Portugal is more than beaches and city life, and you can see it all as you cruise down the Douro. Wine fan? There are plenty of vineyards along the way, and Porto is famous for its port wine. Take in the beautiful village of Provesende with all its traditions, or listen to classical music in San Francisco Church. And it wouldn’t be Portugal without a visit to Lisbon and its famous pastries.

Traveling with the Brits and Aussies was fun and there were not too many other Americans on the trip. The food was good and plentiful but not gourmet quality. Staff were very professional and attentive and although all were Portuguese they spoke English well. Wines were surprisingly good and plentiful at meals which was included. I would have liked more evening on board cultural or historic programming. The kayak experience was great and the weather perfect.
Secrets of the Douro & LisbonThis cruise was wonderful from beginning to end. The cabin was very comfortable, the food was very good, the staff were exceptionally happy and helpful, and to round it off the weather was perfect to view the picturesque scenery of the Douro Valley.
DOURO EXPRESS, MS DOURO CRUISER: PORTO - PORTO (6 days)We liked the food and service, but don't like that Crusemundo don't deal with problems with excursions. Many complaints before us. Not a good situation for the company. There was also a problem to regulate water temperature in the shower that most rooms have. No phones in the rooms to connect with front desk.
