The Highlights of Portugal - Lisbon, Alentejo, Sintra, Porto, and Douro Valley tour is a private tour, meaning that all services, such as tours and transfers, are provided privately just for you and the person accompanying you. In mid-March, Portugal is entering spring, but the weather is still quite changeable. Temperatures are generally mild. In the north, including Porto, daytime temperatures are usually around 15 to 17 degrees Celsius, and nighttime temperatures often fall to about 8 to 10 degrees. In central and southern areas, such as Lisbon, daytime temperatures are often around 18 degrees, with nights around 11 degrees. Rain is still fairly common in March. Many parts of Portugal experience regular showers, and Lisbon typically sees around 13 rainy days during the month. The north tends to be wetter than the south. Daylight increases noticeably in March, and there are more sunny periods compared with winter, although rain and clouds still occur frequently.

This is a tour designed to a minimum of two passengers. It is also a semi private tour, meaning only the day tours are with a group, and accommodation, transfers and meals are private. That's the reason for the pricier single supplement. I can suggest other tours more single traveler friendly or adjust this one for you specifically, but the same type of tour applies - day tours with a small group and other services private.
