Morocco is a beautiful country that offers so many varied landscapes. Our travel highlights were the Sahara, Fez, Marrakech, Essaouira and the idyllic mountain village of Cheffchaoen. We were able to tell our tour guide Elhoussine our wishes at any time and he immediately set about making them possible and optimizing the programme for us. We always felt safe and in good hands with our driver Mukhtar, even on the sometimes long journeys. Even in sometimes chaotic traffic situations in the middle of Marrakech, he drove us safely and calmly to our destination and also made extra stops possible. The accommodation was very good and beautiful. From luxurious riads with mosaic fountains and roof terraces to a nomad camp in the Sahara, everything was great. Our guides in Fes (Idriss) and Marrakech (Brahim) were very well informed, humorous and gave us lots of insights into the local production of goods (e.g. ceramics workshop, cloth production, argan oil production, leather tannery, carpet weavers).
