The sights and experiences on this tour are absolutely amazing! We got to experience geysers, water falls and ice bergs - yes, ice bergs!- up close. We saw many humpback whales on our boat trip out into the fjord. The food in Iceland, though quite expensive, is fabulous, and the people are friendly and helpful. Do not miss an opportunity to experience one of the thermal baths! We had a wonderful tour guide, Vik, from Arctic Adventures. He amused us during our time on the road with interesting anecdotes about his life in the very areas we were touring. He was patient, helpful and one of the highlights of our trip! That said, this tour is non-stop, with a different hotel every night. There is really no free time. We also found the mini-bus to be quite cramped, comparable to economy class on a plane. Be aware that airport transfers are not provided, so you have to find your own way. We booked the tour through On The Go Tours, who turned out to only be the "middle man", as they in turn book the tour with the local company, Artic Adventures. Great tour, lots of hiking over rocks and uneven terrain, jam-packed agenda, wonderful people!Show more

Land of the Northern Lights tour was great! The tour guide Hallthor was awesome! I’m so glad I attended. I was going to cancel this tour. Omg, this tour was truly good. The Blue Lagoon, the waterfalls, the mountains, geysers, Reykjavík Peninsula, Skoger Folk, and the tomato greenhouse. Moreover, we saw the Northern Lights. That was awesome. Hallthor made the tour bus ride very interesting. He told lots of historical stories and tales. We could have not asked for a better tour guide. He was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We learned a lot from our tour guide. Thank you for a fabulous holiday and a great experience.Show more
