  I had so many places I wanted to visit in Turkey that I decided to join a tour this time — and it truly turned out to be one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I arrived at the airport to the very end of the journey, the local tour company took exceptional care of me. Everything felt safe, organized, and thoughtfully arranged. My guide, Yalcin, was outstanding. He was not only highly professional but also incredibly knowledgeable, with deep insights into history, culture, society, and everyday life in Turkey. Thanks to him, I didn’t just “see” Turkey — I truly understood it, and I genuinely fell in love with this country. I was also fortunate to travel with a wonderful Spanish group, which made the experience even more enjoyable and full of laughter. Before the trip, I was slightly worried about the long travel distances, but I ended up loving every moment on the road, watching the landscapes change from region to region. The vehicle was always clean, comfortable, and perfect for long drives, and the drivers were excellent as well. The itinerary was perfectly designed and incredibly well-timed. They thoughtfully avoided peak hours, so I could enjoy each site without overwhelming crowds. What I appreciated most was that the tour included not only famous highlights, but also authentic local places — especially after Safranbolu — allowing me to experience the real heart of Turkey. Every destination had its own unique charm, and there was never a dull moment. This journey gave me unforgettable memories, meaningful learning, and a deep emotional connection to Turkey. I will definitely return, and I would absolutely choose this tour again. I highly, highly recommend it!Show more

  For the first time we bought a tour with Europamundo, we traveled with my family to Turkey, there was in the group a person with reduced movement who walked with a cane and sometimes in a wheelchair. Starting the tour we explained our situation to the guide and he clearly replied that Turkey was not for people with disabilities and that he was not going to wait for anyone. He said he didn't work for Europamundo, and he didn't care if there was a complaint because he worked for the ministry. The gentleman never collaborated with us, people on the tour who walked slowly never waited for them and left them outside the museums or places. We used a wheelchair to move quickly but the man never showed kindness, he also asked for a tip and since we did not give him what he asked for, he returned the money claiming that he did not receive alms. EUROPAMUNDO must specify that only young and healthy people can go on their tour because clearly the Discrimination is total. At the end of the tour the guide confirmed the pick-up time from the hotel to the airport and the driver never arrived after an hour of waiting they told us to pay for the taxi and the travel agency would refund it. The worst travel experience!!!Show more

We would like to clarify a few important points: The guide you traveled with was a local guide, not an Europamundo guide, and therefore is not part of our regular staff. Nevertheless, we have forwarded your comments to our local partner in Istanbul, and this guide will not work with Europamundo again. It is true that our tours recommend a certain level of physical fitness, and in cases of reduced mobility or the need for a wheelchair, passengers must inform us before the trip begins. In this case, we were not notified, so the local guide was unable to provide the necessary assistance. Regarding the airport transfer incident, we understand your frustration, and we confirm that the taxi was reimbursed, as previously indicated. We regret that these circumstances negatively affected your experience, and we want to assure you that we are continuously working to improve coordination with our local partners to prevent similar situations in the future.   We enjoyed. The trip was well planned, activities of value and very interesting. From when we left Istanbul our guide, Serhat, WAS FANTASTIC AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. He is a walking treasure of knowledge on Turkey and we loved him. Some positive criticism, 1)the fact that it was an English and Spanish group with 2 tour guides in one bus that had to compete for the microphone, did not work well and was a big irritation. 2) The first two days in Istanbul had too much open time if you did not take the extras, which was very expensive. I would have preferred the trip to start with travel on the second day, and rather have the free time in Istanbul at the end of the trip. On the first two days, because we did not take the extras, we were not dropped off at the hotel after our excursion and had to find our own way back to the hotel. 3)the first two days in Istanbul we were part of a Spanish group. There was an English tour guide that gave us very little information and we could not understand what the Spanish tour guide was explaining to her group. 4) on the second last day of the tour we had to leave our group and join a new group, as the rest of our group had a different itinerary. The last two days were unpleasant as we knew nobody in the new group, most of the people were Spanish and we did not feel part of the group. We missed Serhat, our previous tour guide, and his knowledgeable discussions very much in the last part of our tour.Show more

  It was excellent tour we have undertaken. From booking to payment were good and tour was conducted in a professional way. Couch, food and hotels were very good. Airport rep need more info to check name and hotel prior to boarding the taxi. Due to that we were put on a different taxi and need to go back to the airport to swap with another Taxi.Show more
