  Our tour in Egypt was led by experienced and knowledgable tour guides who introduced us to the history and artefacts of Egyptian history. It was explained in the paperwork when we first booked that the tour included accommodation and some meals and that we would need to pay all entry fees to temples and sights. We did find the entry fees to be quite expensive, especially as so much tipping was required to guides, drivers etc. The accommodation and the meals that were included were very good.Show more

  Overall, the tour offered good value and covered most of the key sites I wanted to visit in Egypt. The visit to Abu Simbel is highly recommended, though it involves a very early start and a long journey. Communication with the company and Hassan was efficient, with prompt responses to questions throughout. The hotel in Cairo was a standard chain property (Barceló), which was comfortable but somewhat dated and located a distance from central areas, making it less convenient for dining outside the hotel in the evenings. The Nile cruise was a highlight, with a comfortable room and notably good food. There are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Entrance fees and tickets were not included in the overall price, which added some inconvenience despite being relatively small additional costs. The tour guides were generally satisfactory, although at times communication could be challenging. Additionally, there were instances where guides directly requested tips and specified expected amounts for themselves and their drivers, which felt inappropriate. A clearer daily itinerary shared in advance (e.g., via message) would have been helpful, particularly for early departures, as this would allow for better planning and a more relaxed experience. While responses were provided when requested, proactive communication would improve the overall organisation. Finally, the logistics around the final night in Cairo could have been better managed. For an early morning departure, accommodation closer to the airport would have been more practical, rather than returning to the same hotel located approximately an hour away. Aside from the cruise segment, the experience did not consistently meet expectations of a “luxury” tour, and at times aspects of the pricing and organisation felt less aligned with the overall cost.Show more

  Me and two friends just got back. The absolute highlight was Kom Ombo Temple. Seeing the ancient medical tools carved into the wall was wild. We also loved just hanging out on the sundeck of the Nile Cruise as it sailed. It was moving but so peaceful. The balloon ride was epic, a real bucket list thing. We got great group photos up there. The tour with Luxury Tours Of Egypt was so easy. Buses, tickets, guides, all sorted. We just showed up and had fun. The food on the cruise was solid, lots of options. The trip to Abu Simbel felt like a real mission, totally worth it. Experience Easy, fun packed trip with great mates. Admission fee All inclusive feel, no stress about costs. Length of visit A solid week of adventure and banter. Atmosphere High energy fun mixed with chill cruise time. Crowd size Our friend group plus other cool travelers. Staff The guide was fun and kept things moving. Best for Groups of friends who want fun and culture.Show more

  I took this solo trip to disconnect. The Nile Cruise from Luxury Tours Of Egypt was ideal. Limited internet on the river meant I actually read books. The scenery from my cabin window was a constant calm show. The tours were enriching. At the Valley of the Kings, our guide explained the symbolism of the tomb paintings, the journey to the afterlife. It was profound. The balloon ride was the ultimate disconnect, just wind and vast views. A simple moment I loved was having afternoon tea on the cruise deck, writing in a journal, just being present. Exactly what I needed. Experience A digital detox wrapped in ancient wonder. Admission fee Paid for peace and profound experiences. Length of visit A true break from the modern world. Atmosphere Calming, reflective, and deeply satisfying. Crowd size The group was quiet and respectful. Staff The guide understood the reflective mood. Best for Those seeking a reflective, unplugged getaway.Show more

  Family trip with a 10 and 12 year old. The Nile Cruise ship was a hit. They loved having their own cabin next to ours. The balloon ride was for me and my spouse, but the kids did the felucca ride in Aswan and loved it. The tour guide from Luxury Tours Of Egypt was great with them, giving them mini missions like finding a specific animal hieroglyph. They learned without realizing it. The pool on the cruise was small but perfect for them to cool off. The early wake up for Abu Simbel was an adventure they still talk about.A fantastic family trip. Experience Learning disguised as adventure for the kids. Admission fee Family friendly pricing for a premium trip. Length of visit Kept the kids engaged from start to finish. Atmosphere Fun, safe, and stimulating for children. Crowd size Other families, so the kids had peers. Staff The guide was a hit with our children. The visits were good 1) tell to clients that tv does not work on the cruise boats … that is Tourrador’s responsibility because the guides and employees were very good ! 2) the hotel and cruise boat were a little old … not 4 stars and we should know the name of the boats … we loved Egypt where everybody is really very welcomingShow more
