Marseille to Arles
Welcome to France! Your flights arrive by 3 pm in Marseille, and you'll need to be on board the Suite Ship by 5 pm. After getting settled into your cabin, dinner will be served while the ship docks overnight in Arles.

Arles
Head to the Adventure Center this morning to pick your activity in Arles. You can do a Power Walk with your Adventure Host, take a Painting Workshop learning van Gogh techniques, or join a guided walking tour visiting the Roman Amphitheater. Later in the day, grab some free time to stop by Le Café Van Gogh for wine before the ship sails toward Avignon.

- Day 3
Avignon
This morning you'll arrive in Avignon, the City of the Popes in Provence. You have a couple of options to start your day. Either bike through the city streets to get a feel for the place, or join a guided tour that covers Avignon's impressive ramparts and the Palace of the Popes itself. If you want to venture further, you can take an optional excursion to the Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard, which is pretty remarkable if you haven't seen it before. Another option is heading to the wine cellars at Châteauneuf-du-Pape for some tasting. Back in the city, spend some free time checking out the art and culture around town, and don't miss the medieval Pont Saint-Bénézet. Later this evening, you'll catch live entertainment onboard.

Viviers
The morning brings a relaxed sail to Viviers, a charming French village. Once you arrive, you can either walk up to the hilltop Cathedral with your Adventure Host, or take a guided walk through the Old Town where you'll get a tasting of local food and drink included. It's a nice way to experience what the village has to offer at a comfortable pace. After spending the day exploring, you'll cruise overnight to Tain l'Hermitage, so you can settle in for the evening as the boat gets underway.

Tournon to Lyon
Start your morning in Tournon with either a hike led by your Adventure Host or a guided walking tour of the medieval city and its 16th-century castle. By early afternoon, you'll sail to Lyon where a French pastry demonstration kicks off onboard. Dinner features French cuisine with wine pairings guided by a Certified Sommelier, followed by live entertainment.

A guided sightseeing tour is another choice, taking you to Fourvière Hill and the Old Town where you can wander medieval alleyways and sit at local cafés. This evening features a special onboard dinner that's inspired by legendary chef Paul Bocuse, along with live entertainment as you sail toward Tournus.

Travel into the Mâconnais region today to learn about the famous Chardonnay vineyards and do a wine tasting in a medieval castle's cellars. Back on the ship, you'll have a cheese tasting while sailing toward Chalon-sur-Saône. The evening wraps up with live entertainment onboard.
