Day 1
Los Angeles to Paso Robles
A driver picks you up from your LA hotel and you'll head north along the coast. The first stop is Santa Barbara where you'll have lunch and walk around this Mediterranean-style city. After that, you'll continue to Solvang, a charming Danish-inspired village with unique shops and bakeries worth browsing. You'll arrive in Paso Robles by late afternoon, giving you time to settle in.

Paso Robles
Start with breakfast included at your hotel, then head out to Hearst Castle for a Grand Rooms tour of the main house plus time to check out the castle grounds. From there, you'll drive to the coastal town of Cambria for lunch and some leisure shopping. Later in the day, you'll cross over the Santa Lucia mountains heading to Paso Robles Wine Country where you'll do tastings at a family-owned boutique winery. By evening you'll be back at your accommodation with the night free to explore downtown on your own.

Lars was an amazing down to earth tour guide, he added so much to the group with his enigmatic personality! He offered great advice on an individual basis for choices to make as well as a history through out. Our group was small enough for us to all interact as well as not get lost in the hubbub and brouhaha of a well soaked in wine crew!!! You can tell that Lars and Kristina have well planned everything out as well as having years of experience with being on both sides of the tourism industry!!! Also, Hearst castle was just an amazing cherry on top, with Zebras in the wild along our drive!
