- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and look for your Travel Talk sign at the terminal for your transfer to the hotel. After getting settled in your room, meet your guide and fellow travelers in the lobby around 6:00pm for an informal welcome meeting. You have free time to explore Cairo's vibrant streets or you can join an optional group dinner cruise if you'd like.

- Day 2
Cairo
Start early with breakfast, then head out to the Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza. Your guide walks you through this ancient site, explaining these 4,600-year-old structures in detail. Later, you'll visit the Egyptian Museum of Cairo, which holds over 120,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts and relics. By evening, you'll head back to your hotel for the night.

Cairo to Aswan
You fly to Aswan early and begin with a city tour led by your local guide. You'll see the Unfinished Obelisk to learn about ancient construction methods, then walk along the 42-metre granite bed to understand its historical importance. After that, head to Philae Temple on an island in the Nile, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Check into your hotel and you can join a traditional Nubian dinner in the evening if interested.

Aswan
Spend the day on a traditional felucca sailing along the Nile, enjoying the cool breeze and water. The rest of the day is yours to wander around Aswan however you like.

Aswan to Luxor
You'll travel by coach heading north toward Kom Ombo and visit the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Then continue to Edfu to see one of Egypt's largest and best-preserved temples dedicated to the falcon god Horus, built over 180 years from 237 BC to 57 BC. By late afternoon you'll reach Luxor and explore Luxor Temple as the evening light sets in. Luxor
If you'd like, join the optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor early in the morning. Your guide then takes you to the Valley of the Kings, also known as the 'City of the Dead', where royal tombs are carved into the desert rocks. You'll also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and see the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, head to the airport and fly back to Cairo.

Dahab

Dahab to Mt. Sinai
You have a free day by the sea with optional water sports available if you want them. Enjoy your final day by the Red Sea under the Egyptian sun. In the evening at 22:30, you'll depart for St. Catherine and start the ascent to Mt. Sinai to watch the sunrise paint the surrounding peaks in gold and see one of Egypt's best views.

Mt. Sinai to Dahab
