    Is this a fully escorted tour with English speaking tour guide? What type of vehicle is transport in? Is transport airconditioned and comfortable for older persons?

      Yes its an escorted tour with a tour guide who will also be driving you around. The vehicles are comfortable and have air condition. The vehicle type is determined closer to your trip date but its usually also comfortable for older persons.

      We want ideally 2 nights in at least 50% of the hotels, and fewer long bus rides. We need to do a shorter distance, and concentrate on fewer places.

      Maybe The Great Balkan Experience tour would be more suitable for you since it covers 15 days as opposed to this one that is 22 days?

    We like this tour itinerary and the 4* accomodation that you promise - for the most part. We dont want to spend so many days in Slovenia - max 2 days. Is there an option for us to end this tour in Zagreb and skip the Slovenia portion for a lower price? Or, do you have an alternate tour that covers similar locations in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro?

      We can make amendments to your tour but it will have to be a private tour which in the end will be more costly. Another option would be for you to switch to the Great Balkan experience tour which does not include Slovenia but as a private tour. The great balkan experience private option is 14.200 euros for 2 people as a private tour. Sightseeing tours included: Zagreb, Novi sad, Belgrade, Skopje, Ohrid, Tirana, Podgorica, Kotor, Budva, Dubrovnik, Mostar, Sarajevo, Split, Pltivice National park. The price includes: All transfers as per itinerary, English speaking tour leader, Accommodation in 4* hotels on BB basis, 8 × lunch, 1× farewell dinner, Entrance to Kalemegdan fortress, Entrance to Plitvice NP, Entrance to Diocletian palace, Entrance to Rector's palace, Tourist tax

    What type of transport is used and maximum number of people on each tour?

      The type of transport depends on the group size, we use either a minivan or a bus. There is no maximum number of people on our tours, however, they normally stay small, under 7 passengers.

    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before May 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with PALMA DMC & TO. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and PALMA DMC & TO will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
