- Day 1
Helsinki
You'll arrive in Helsinki and have the afternoon to walk around the city on your own. Later this evening, you'll meet the group at a welcome dinner where they'll go over the Northern Capitals itinerary while you enjoy wine and get to know your fellow travelers.

- Day 2
Helsinki
Helsinki is free for you to explore however you'd like. You can spend the day wandering around the capital's neighborhoods, or there's an optional cruise to Estonia where you'll see Tallinn's old town, take in views from Toompea Hill, visit the historic market square, and browse the shops known for amber and silver jewelry before heading back to Helsinki.

Helsinki to Stockholm
Start with a local expert who'll show you Helsinki's design and fashion side, then walk through a traditional food market to try things like liquorice and smoked reindeer. After lunch, you'll board a cruise ship heading to Sweden with an overnight voyage. Your cabin has sea views and you'll have dinner on board as the midnight sun stays visible on the horizon.

Stockholm
After leaving the cruise, a local expert will guide you through Stockholm. Then you'll cross the harbor to Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old medieval core, where you'll see the cathedral and Royal Palace.

Oslo

The afternoon is yours to do what you want, whether that's visiting the Holmenkollen ski jump, the Fram polar ship, City Hall (where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place), or the National Gallery.

You'll leave Oslo and drive south through the Nordic countryside and Gothenburg on your way to Denmark. Then you'll take a short ferry ride across to Denmark, passing Kronborg Castle (rumored to be Hamlet's Elsinore) as you head to Copenhagen.

Copenhagen

You'll see the Little Mermaid statue by the waterfront, walk through the old town with its colorful houses and squares, and check out the 18th-century cathedral where King Frederik X married Queen Mary. Later you'll join a special dinner at a hand-picked restaurant featuring sustainable ingredients as you celebrate the end of your Scandinavian trip.
