  What time do we meet for the tour on 15 OCT and where do we meet? Do you provide pick up transfer from JFK airport to venue of our meeting for start of tour?

    We do not have a specified time for meeting since all travelers will have varied flight schedules. The Tour Manager may or may not be immediately available/waiting for travelers at the first hotel, so they will leave information at the front desk for all guests. There will be a welcome dinner scheduled for the full group to meet and review expectations for the program and timing for activities.

    So for 15 Oct arrival date, we all come in at different time. if Collette manager does not come and fetch us, how do we get to the hotel? Do we have to find our way there?

    When you arrive at the destination airport, you have the option of getting the airport to hotel transfer one of three ways: 1. If you purchase flights through Collette, you receive the hotel transfers. 2. If you are handling your Own Air, you can purchase transfers starting at $75 per person, each way. 3. If you handle your own flights and do not want to purchase transfers, you would be responsible for getting from the arrival airport to the first tour hotel on your own.

    So if we bought our own tickets and arrive in JFK international airport, are u able to arrange paid transfer to hotel?

    No. As stated, the Inbound airport is Boston (BOS). Collette cannot accommodate transfers from JFK, so any arrangements outside of the given airports and dates will be your responsibility. You would have to get yourself from JFK to the Boston hotel.

  May I ask where is the pick up point and drop off? Boston airport for both? Can it be arranged elsewhere? Do you do extension of tours for us or have other tour say 2 nights 3 days in Lancaster? Will there be lots of walking? Suitable for older people?

    The overall activity level of this tour is a level 1. This means you're a leisurely traveler. You typically take it easy and discover the energy of a new place by people-watching or soaking in the atmosphere at a local café. You can climb at least one flight of stairs, board a coach, and walk unassisted at a relaxed pace for up to 60 minutes without difficulty. We will reach altitudes of over 6,000 feet at the top of Mount Washington. If you have issues with altitude, you can elect to sit this activity out.

    As for pick up and drop off points - am referring to the start of the tour - where do we meet the tour group and where does the tour group ends - presumably it's at the Boston Logan Airport? Can we get assistance to find our way back to New York?

    You begin and end your tour flying into and out of the Boston Logan International Airport. You will meet your tour group at the first hotel on tour NOT at the airport. We can facilitate a deviation flight from Boston to get you to an NYC airport at the end of the program, if needed.

    If I am coming in from New York, can u arrange for pick up from our hotel to Boston and then back from Boston to NY again. We are looking at a 2 days 1 night OR 3 days 2 nights stay in Lancaster ideally with a tour package that covers the sight and sound theatre and a visit to the kitchen kettle village and then back to New York again.. are u able to advise me on this one? Do u have such a tour package?

    I realized that the earlier set of dates 21 Oct to 28 Oct for the foliage tour is now not available? May I ask if this is correct?

    That is correct. That date is now sold out. Space in general is very limited for the remaining 2025 dates. These are very popular tour dates for this program, so they often sell out months in advance.

    Are u able to put us on waitlist for the set of dates in event that somebody pulled out last minute?

    Absolutely we can! If you are open to being on a waitlist, we would still have to carry through creation of a full reservation for that date. If anything becomes cleared from the waitlist, our Operations team would advise and then we would follow up with you. If you cannot clear the waitlist as we get closer to departure, then you would receive a full refund.

    Transfers: Airport to Hotel and Hotel to Airport arrival and departure transfers are available. They come included with the full transportation package when purchasing Collette Air at no additional cost, but if you are taking care of your own flights, they are still available for purchase at $75 per person, each way.

  Are you able to do an extension after this tour from Boston to Lancaster for the sight and sound theatre and the kettle kitchen village say 2 to 3 nights stay and then back to New York?

    We do not offer any extension to Lancaster on this tour. If you are interested in staying a few nights in Lancaster on your own, we may be able to book a hotel stay.

    What do you mean by Collette Air? As in this is also an airline? We have yet to book our flights and at this point, most likely flying in with Singapore Airlines and arriving JFK airport on 19th Oct 2025. Will stay over and then make our way to Boston. So do we have to be at Boston Logan airport to join the tour or should we check into the said hotel for the first day OR Collette can arrange to pick us up from the hotel in NY and then to Boston?

We offer an air package that includes: Round-trip air ticket including taxes & fees, Included arrival/departure transfers, Complimentary sedan service from home to airport if within 50 miles, Access to 24/7 Emergency assistance in the event of a flight cancellation, delay, or lost luggage, Collette will actively monitor your airline arrangements to ensure changes to your itinerary align with the tour scheduling. If you decide to book your own air. You can either join the tour and make your own way to the first hotel or purchase our hotel to airport transfers. Our transfers start at a rate of $75.00 per person.
