Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana to Llogara
You'll arrive at Tirana International Airport and get transferred to Llogara. Depending on when you land, there's time for optional visits to Ardenica Monastery, Narta lagoon, or the Apollonia archaeological site if you want to squeeze something in. Once at the hotel, you'll sit in on an orientation workshop where everyone gets introduced and the tour leaders walk through the guiding values for the trip. The day wraps up with a traditional welcome dinner.

Llogara
After breakfast you'll head into Llogara National Park for a hike through thick pine forests up to Peak of Qorre, which sits at 2,018 meters and is the second-highest peak in the Ceraunian Mountains. The views from up there take in the Ionian Sea and the rugged coastline below. You'll have a picnic lunch out in nature, then transfer down to the coastal city of Himara where you'll have the evening free to do your own thing.

Himara to Nivica
Early on you'll board a fully equipped boat at Himara port and head out along the Albanian Riviera. The day takes in Jale beach, some untouched bays, and Gjipe beach, which ranks among Europe's best. You'll also stop at Pirate's Cave before moving on to Dhermi beach and Grama bay. After that you'll transfer inland to the wild canyons of Nivica where you're staying at a local guesthouse, with dinner there as well.

- Day 4
Nivica to Gjirokastra
In Nivica Canyon you'll wake up to birds and then explore this remote canyon, which stretches about 40 km long and 15 km wide. There's a short hike out to the hidden Peshtura Waterfall. Later you'll transfer to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO site known for its Ottoman architecture and old character. After a quick lunch in the Old Bazaar, you'll check out Gjirokastra Castle and the Skenduli House. Once you're settled at a boutique hotel, you have the evening to wander the historic Old Bazaar at your own pace.

- Day 5
Gjirokastra
You'll travel to Goranxi village in Dropull and see the village church before hiking Broad Mountain toward Ravena Monastery. The hike takes you through Mediterranean shrubs and plants, with panoramic views of Drino valley opening up from the monastery. Back in Goranxi, you'll head to Asim Zeneli village for horseback riding through Lunxheria valley and stop at a village family's home for homemade traditional lunch. If horseback riding isn't for you, buggy-driving or short hikes are also options.

Gjirokastra to Permet
You'll travel to Permet to do whitewater rafting on the Vjosa River, one of Europe's last truly wild rivers. The rafting takes you through flowing curves, islands, and gorges while you pass charming communities along the river valley. Later you'll check in at your hotel in Permet and have leisure time to relax or walk around the city center. The day ends with a traditional dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 7
Permet to Tirana
You'll drive to the Bënja thermal waters where there's an ancient Katiu Bridge to explore, Langarica Canyon to see, and warm mineral-rich thermal baths that people go to for their healing properties. You can soak in the refreshing waters and get that mix of nature and wellness before heading back to Tirana in the afternoon. After checking in for your last night, you'll have free time to explore the city's vibrant atmosphere and check out local sights.

- Day 8
Tirana
You'll have a free morning before you head to the airport. There's an optional guided city walk through Tirana if you want to learn more about the city's history and culture, with stops at Bunk'Art, the Et'hem Bey Mosque, and Skanderbeg Square. Then you'll take the spirit of Albania with you as you depart.
