  We just finished our Belgian based tour and I would first say that the continuous daily support we had from TourRadar was excellent from all but with special thanks to Mia. My experience on the individual tours varies and was impacted by my large size and moderate disability but discounting that...the Toot bus was a 3 due to limited stops with hour long waits to hop back on. But it is an easy was to get to where you want to. The bus tours to Ghent and Brugge were cramped and required to much walking to get to where there were things to see. Guide was difficult to understand. We did not go to Amsterdam but the Luxembourg tour bus was much more comfortable with a great guide but the bus parks far from center. Dinant was a lovely place to finish. One big surprise was no bathrooms on the buses and be sure to bring Euros for the ones on land. Hotel Nhow was weird and artsy but great breakfasts and nice king beds & big screens so just fine! Thanks to the whole TR crew.Show more

  TourRadar organizes the accommodations (which were very good) and books you on a series of big-bus day trips with other operators to which you get yourself. All of the trips were on big buses filled to capacity with bi-lingual guides - all Spanish/English with the emphasis on Spanish. There were four day trips advertised when I booked the trip and all of them did happen although NONE of them were in the order that was advertised. TourRadar communicated the changes and details well, but all those changes made it seem rather poorly organized. The accommodations were a 14-18 minute walk from trip starting points (although the hotel was actually right on the bus line and a 2-block walk to the metro). I did get to see the places I wanted to see, but as didn't realize they'd all be big-bus tours (which I really don't like) or that the primary language would be Spanish (which I don't speak well). Guides were well informed and helpful, but their focus was clearly on the Spanish. It was a good - but far from excellent - trip for what it was, but I wouldn't choose to do it again. If you book with them, be prepared for many changes in the itinerary (which I didn't mind but which could be very problematic), and for long big-bus rides with no continuity as to who fellow travelers are.Show more

While the itinerary sequence may be adjusted, all included experiences are provided, and we always communicate any changes in advance to keep our travelers informed. Regarding the language, our local partners often operate bilingual tours to accommodate international travelers.   Since this was a partially guided tour, not much of expectations here. I hit a few snags along the way which the tour company was able to remedy each situation quickly. I was not happy with the hotel. It did not have A/C, the elevator broke a few times and its location was not desirable.Show more

  Pro: Excellent communication with the operator. Cons: 1) As seniors, we did not like the 20-minute walk to the bus every morning to start the tour; and the 20-minute walk back to the hotel in the evening. It was late and we were tired and the additional walk to the hotel was not comforting. 2) We did not have airconditioning on the last two nights at Hotel Siru. They gave us an electric fan because hotel was fully booked and they could not move us to another room. 3). Some tour guides sounded like history teachers reading from a book. They should make narrative of a place interesting and give the most important information only.Show more

  Really enjoyed our five day trips. Especially Luxembourg, Gant & Brugge. The tour guides were very helpful and informative. I wasn’t very immersed with Palo our guide for Amsterdam trip. I thought he was very knowledgeable but his personality leaves a lot to be desired. He wouldn’t allow anyone sit in the two front seats behind the driver even though he had two seats on the opposite side. Very territorial and a bit of a smart guy who has an attitude. Not a good way to be if you want people to tip you. But overall we enjoyed our trip. Rita IrelandShow more

  Good and timely pre-trip assistance. Smooth organization of airport transfer and day tour excursions with vouchers/info. Interesting places visited with comfortable coaches. Good location of hotel in Brussels with walking distance to most sightseeing spots. Only improvement would be to swap the canal boat tour in Amsterdam to a city walking tour instead. That way you can get a better overview of the areas to go explore on your own free time. Plus sitting several hours on the coach and then embarking to just sit on a canal boat instead… as mentioned a walking tour would have suited better at that point in my opinion. Overall I recommend this tour that squeezed in a lot during a few days. Thanks for an enjoyable trip!Show more
