Itinerary
- Day 1
Alexandria to Cairo
Your driver picks you up early at Alexandria Port for the drive to Cairo, which takes about three hours. Once there, you'll spend the morning on the Giza Plateau seeing the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus, and the Great Sphinx. The Valley Temple is also included in this part of the tour. After that, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum where you can walk through thousands of artifacts and see the complete Tutankhamun collection. In the afternoon, make your way to the Citadel of Salah El Din, where you'll tour the Mohammed Ali Mosque and the Mosque of al-Nasir Muhammad while taking in the panoramic views across the city. You'll break for lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant before heading back to Alexandria Port for your return drive by private vehicle.
