We do not offer any clothing or equipment. Guests are recommended to bring warm, wind and water prove clothing to be able to enjoy the tour to the fullest. There are clothing rentals in Reykjavík where you can rent warm clothing. February is a good time to see the Northern Lights, but of course the weather here in Iceland can be very unpredictable and therefor never a guarantee that you will see the Northern lights.

Is there a way to see the ice cave tour for jokulsalrun? Is it included or just from far away? Or extra excursions?

In this tour you will go to the Jökulsárlón (Glacier Lagoon) but there is no Ice Cave included. You can add the Blue lagoon admission on the last day the price for that is 85 EUR per person.

I am interested in the 3 day tour starting 13 Feb 2026. My question is regarding the time. The flight that I can take arrives 13 Feb at 06:30 am. How far is the keflavik airport to reykjavik drive? I know the tour starts from 0800 to 0900. Will I have time to be there on time?

It takes about 50 minutes to drive from KEF to Reykjavík. We do offer shared airport shuttle transfer with return - costs 68 EUR. Or private airport transfer with return - costs 340 EUR (1-3 person). The pick-up will be from Hotel Klettur and it starts at 08:30 so you should be able to make it on time if your flight isn't delayed.

What airport do I fly into? And what time does the tour start? Need to know when to fly into by and if I'll need an extra room the night before??

There is only one main international airport in Iceland, Keflavik International Airport (KEF). It is about a 45 minute drive from Reykjavík City. The bus departs at 09:00 am so it is advisable to be already in Iceland, we can pick up from most hotels or designated bus stops in Reykjavík if you chose to book your own accommodation the night before and after the tour.

Will we have enough time to get through customs and get a taxi/shuttle to get to the tour starting point in time? What do you recommend before we purchase the tour?

If you are arriving at 7 am on the 24th November unfortunately you will not make it to the departure at 09:00 from Reykjavík. How long will you be staying in Iceland? Perhaps we have another tour that would suit your needs better in terms of dates.

What hotel is used in Vik? What restaurants are availabe during the tour? How long are we at the Blue Lagoon? If I do not wish to get into the water, are there other ways to spend my time there?

The hotel used in Vik is Hotel Katla by Keahotels. For lunch there will be plenty of restaurants on the way, during rest stops. For the dinner we recommend dining at Hotel Katla, but if you would like to dine in Vik there are a few options to chose from. You would have o make your own way from the hotel into the town, they do have some taxi services. The Blue Lagoon stop is 2 hours, if you do not wish to get in the water you are able to walk around outside or have some refreshments in the cafe while waiting for the rest of the group.

What is the cost of the 3 night Northern Lights tour in Reykjavik?

The cost for this tour is: 630 euros per person in a DBL room 800 euros per person in a SGL room.

Would this travel time (fourth week of November), be a good time for viewing the Northern Lights?

End of November is a great time to come see the northern lights, the best time is November-February. However there is never a 100% guarantee of seeing the lights as the weather can be unpredictable, if there is much cloud coverage it is not possible to see them.

We have a cruise to catch from Barcelona on Sunday Oct 26 are there any options for this 3 day excursion starting on Wednesday Oct 22 allowing for it to be completed on Friday October 24th and us flying into Barcelona on Saturday October 25th.

Our scheduled departures are all published online. For this tour the departures are on Mondays and Fridays. So unfortunately we do not have this tour available starting on the 22nd of October. We do have a Northern Lights Stopover in Reykjavik for 3 nights. This tour is available every day in October so we would be able to accommodate 22nd - 25th of October. This tour has you staying in Reykjavik and included is the accommodation for 3 nights and northern lights evening tour on evening 2 or 3.

Does this tour start right in Reykjavik? I'm having trouble finding flights. It looks like they fly into KEF, and then you have to pay crazy transport fees...
