  We recently returned from an incredible 10-day Thailand tour with Legend Travel Group and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we landed, everything was perfectly organized. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and always made us feel welcome. The hotels were comfortable and well-located, making it easy to explore. Chiang Mai and Phuket were definite highlights—both are perfect spots to extend your stay and soak up even more of Thailand’s amazing atmosphere. The Elephant Safari and Sanctuary experience was unforgettable and truly one of a kind. We had so much fun and made memories we’ll cherish forever. A big thank you to the Legend Travel Group team for their outstanding service and to TourRadar for connecting us to this adventure.   We had an amazing journey through Thailand! Bangkok was bustling and full of life, while Chiang Mai offered wonderful cultural experiences and a memorable visit to an ethical elephant sanctuary. Phuket’s beaches were stunning and relaxing, and our day trip to Phi Phi Island was pure adventure. The food was delicious, and the hotels were comfortable and well-located.   Excellent itinerary and guides, guides were also flexible and gave their own recommendations (such as stopping at the train market on the way to the floating market) and also allowed us to dramatically change the last day in Chaing Mai as we didnt want to spend 7 hours driving, but filled our day with other activities. Highlights of the trip were the Elephant camp (which was very humane) and the PhiPhi island tour. Highly recommended but personally i would ask for a different itinerary for the day in Chaing Mai instead of the massive drive to the Myanmar/Laos border, as Chaing Mai itself is beautiful and full of things to do (I would have happily had a whole Thailand trip in Chaing Mai!)Show more

  The first two spots were amazing and the tour guides were great. However, everything went south once we got to Phuket. The tour guide was horribly unhelpful and the hotel was absolutely disgusting. It was supposedly 4 stars, but wasn’t even a 2. When we shared our displeasure and asked to be moved, they basically told us “too bad.” We had to spend our own money to get a decent hotel and the company did nothing about it. Ultimately this tainted our experience and I wouldn’t use this company again. That said, Thailand itself was amazing and I can’t wait to return!Show more

However, we must respectfully address the content of your review as it contains several inaccuracies that could misrepresent our company and the quality of our service: 1) Chanalai Hillside Resort is widely recognized as one of the top-rated 4-star hotels in Phuket, and over the years, 100% of our customers who stayed at this property have expressed satisfaction and positive feedback. 2) Upon learning of your dissatisfaction, Legend Travel Group took immediate action and, out of respect for your concerns, fully refunded the room cost for you and all other members of your group—even though the property met all advertised standards. This refund was issued from our company’s own funds, not from the hotel. 3) Your statement that "the company did nothing" is therefore factually incorrect, and we believe this part of your review unfairly impacts our reputation, which we work very hard to uphold. 4) It is important to acknowledge that personal expectations may vary, especially when it comes to hotel standards.   The itinerary was good and pretty standard for this kind of tour. There was sufficient free time and dinners were almost always left to your own which I liked. The best day in Bangkok included a visit to the train market and the floating market. We decided as a group to not go on the very long trip in Chinag Mai to simply go to the triangle and instead opted for a day to the national park which was great. The visit to the elephant sanctuary was v special. I did not like the inclusion for Phuket very much. The day long speed boat ride to islands was horrible, there was 40 people crammed into a small boat for long periods of sea travel, the swimming and snorkel was in a small Pool of water with loads of people from 10s of other similar boats ,the last island where we spent more than 1.5 hr with100s of other people was a major rip off for drinks and even charged 100 bhat to use the toilet. .The guides ranged from good to excellent. We were a small group of 3 people and so we were able to make changes. There was a mishap early on when the other 2 people decided to ignore an agreed time to meet and the guide did not insist that the people make the agreed upon meeting time. This infuriated me since I had to wait in the heat while the guide did nothing. The guide in Chiang Mai was lovely. There was no guide in Phuket. Transitions to and from the airports was seamless and well organizedShow more

From visiting stunning temples in Bangkok and experiencing local life at a coconut farm and floating market, to being blessed by monks in Chiang Mai’s temple, interacting with elephants, and swimming with fish in the crystal-clear waters of Phi Phi Island—it was unforgettable.   It was a great opportunity to see the entire country from far north to major cities to the beaches. Our first guide Ms Pond was amazing. She went way out of her way to help us experience all that we wanted to get out of Bangkok, even taking extra time to hang out at the markets. She was great!!!! A shout out also to Mr Air, the driver for the Northern sites. He was so kind and took obvious pride in being a driver. Ensuring we always had cold water and cold refreshing hand towels. His van was so clean and comfortable and he provided snacks too. I took a 15 year teen girl with me who had never travelled and she loved them too!Show more

  We did this tour in July 2023 and due to family exigencies forgot to post the review. The tour was well planned by Legend Travel group. It was supposed to be a group tour however it was just 3 of us on the tour. which made us miss company of fellow travelers. The guides were very nice and went out of their way to help us, so very pleased with them. On the whole it was a great tour and we covered all the places that we wanted to see and did loads of other stuff with good guidance from the guides.Show more
