You'll arrive in Istanbul and get settled at your hotel. Later that evening, there's a welcome meeting followed by a short walk through the city to see Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque lit up at night. After that, you'll have a welcome dinner featuring local specialties.

Istanbul
Spend the day exploring Istanbul on foot, starting with the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, and Basilica Cistern. Grab lunch with street food like döner sandwiches and wraps, then browse through the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to do as you like.

Istanbul to Cappadocia
You'll fly to Cappadocia and have a traditional pide lunch when you arrive. From there, drive through Dervent Valley stopping at landscape viewpoints and the Three Beauties rock formations. Later you'll explore the Kaymakli underground city before checking into your cave hotel.

- Day 4
Cappadocia
Your day in Cappadocia begins with a walk or e-bike ride through Meskender Valley, where you'll see the fairy chimneys up close. The landscape here is really something different from what you'd see elsewhere. After that, head to Göreme Open Air Museum to check out the rock-carved churches carved right into the hillside. Later in the afternoon, climb up to Uchisar Castle, which sits at the top of a rocky outcrop and gives you great views across the whole area. By evening, you'll head to a small village for dinner and tea with a local family, which gives you a real sense of how people live here. Then it's back to your hotel to rest after a full day.

- Day 5
Cappadocia - Izmir to Şirince
Start the day at a local food and vegetable market in Avanos to get a feel for Turkish ingredients and daily life there. Then you'll join a hands-on cooking class where you'll learn to make gözleme, a traditional savoury stuffed turnover cooked on an iron griddle, so you'll actually be preparing it yourself rather than just watching. After that, take some time to walk around the town of Ürgüp before heading to the airport in Kayseri for a flight west to Izmir. Once you land, transfer to the ancient village of Şirince where you'll get an orientation walk to get your bearings. The evening is yours to relax and settle in.

Şirince to Ephesus
Travel to Ephesus to walk through the ancient city, checking out St. John's Basilica and the Temple of Artemis. You'll also visit the House of the Virgin Mary and the Greek Orthodox Church with time for lunch in Selçuk. Later, have a 3-course farewell dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel.
